For The Glory, Major Hoople, Obliviax, NittanyLionFan, and PhillyBillyReprise tied for the top score, with 27 points. Due to the tiebreakers, For The Glory took the weekly honors.

In the season-long standings. Nittany.Lion (up from 2nd) moved into a tie with PSU Paul (no change) for 1st place, with 273 points.

In the real competition, twak bested me, 25 points to 24 points. In the season-long competition, I lead him 268 points to 238 points.

The Week 14 slate has been posted. It's a small one, with only 11 games, 2 of which are scheduled for Friday night.

Due to the small slate for Week 14, there will be a lot of movement in the final season-long standings, which will be posted next week.

Well, my philosophy of, once you're behind in the overall, you need to nail some risky picks to climb back to the top has paid off: I'm awarding myself the Pick of the Week for being the only one to choose LSU over Texas A&M. Of course, that same approach, as exemplified by my also being the only one to pick Syracuse over Pitt, has continually dropped me in the standings.
