Something tells me Brookville has this, but part of me is thinking the way you are.
I hope you're right. I don't care too much for Brookville.
Not saying you are wrong about the upset but what makes you think that? Also Vols why do you not care for Brookville?
Harrisonburg is 1-2. Assume they lose to Brookville. That puts them at 1-3. Then they have:
Broadway-that's a win
Waynesboro-will be a tough game but Harrisonburg should win
Rockbridge County-another tough win but I see them getting it done
Fort Defiant-Win
Spotswood-Tough win
Turner Ashby-Win
That puts them at 7-3.
Yes I get that and agree they should end up 7-3 just wondering what leads you to pick them over Brookville?
They're at home, they're mad about last week's loss. Brookville has to drive a ways. Last year Brookville only beat Harrisonburg by 3. I just think the Blue Streaks will get it done.
Maybe it's a bit of both. I would lean to say Liberty is slightly overrated. We'll see this week.
If they struggle with Rockbridge then I'm not sure they deserve to be a playoff team! They are improving but still a year or two away from being competitive in 3a.
I played for and graduated from Heritage so, my dislike is just good ole Timberlake Rd. rivalry fun. Nothing personal.
