Really big commitment, and timely, with all the other recruits being in town this weekend. He is already recruiting others to join him via Twitter. The billboards were paid for by his QB guru Coach dad, Steve Clarkson, who has tutored Ben Roethlisberger, Brett Hundley, Matt Leinart, J. P. Losman, Gino Torretta, Matt Barkley, Tim Tebow, Josh Freeman, and Jimmy Clausen, among others. This is a serious business decision for this family, with the NIL potential in Louisville playing a big role.

My only question is how does his commitment affect the commitment of 2022 QB Khalid Johnson, who was a pretty big commitment himself.

Satt & Co. need to send that ESPN article to every recruit in the country. Man, nice jolt of enthusiasm! If things turn around, and we get back to Louisville football, we could perhaps look back at this as the turning point. Or, maybe I’m overreacting.

i hope he has that kind of impact on the field, but not even the same ballpark IMO

He’s the top dual threat QB in the country, plays at a high profile high school and has strong relationships without a ton of top players (Bryce Young and DJ from Clemson were in his commitment video). He is also very media savvy and active on social media platforms. He is most certainly capable of helping away some guys.

Michael Bush was a 5star recruit depending on the website you’re going by. He had offers from just about everyone!
Teddy Bridgewater was a US Army All American that was playing in Miami at One of the top HS in Florida
I really truly hope this kid makes as a huge of a impact of those 2 UofL Greats!!!

True this. Before that, though, let’s see what he can do with fellow recruits. He seems all in. I’m liking everything I’ve read so far about him. Go Cards!

Khalib is already on campus I believe and from what I hear is he is super under rated and will most likely be the back up next season to malik there was a story written about most likely 3 star to be a NFL first rounder and he was selected as one of the writers picks the kid is really good we’re just spoiled at UL with QB and running back talent

I for one hope the predictions are right

1. We need somebody that can give MC a sense of urgency to improve his check down ability. Someone to make him get better.

2. Have a legitimate BU QB. (And HOPEFULLY Satt will get him some snaps in every friggin game) NO REDSHIRT. Get him ready to be the starter.

3. If it scares PC off, then we know we have a great one.

Those two were taller QB's. This kid is just 6'0 tall and we all know the top guys being recruited are usually at least 6'3.

Now maybe he's the next Mahomes or Russell Wilson, but until then I wouldn't include him with Bush and Bridgewater.

Exercise team is going to break out the rack and stretch him into shape...make him 2-3 inches taller. And/or they are going to GNC and buy the latest newest "ad inches product" that science has produced. 👍🤪

Are you wit them?

So,my son has just informed me that the weekend visits have been fruitful. Any recruiting guys on here confirm that?
It also looks like Clarkson's commitment has opened the flood gates.
