People are stupid as hell if they believe these guys are getting offers of $3+ million. It’s not happening.
Hope you are right, but who knows for sure
Guess fans will never know the truth

4 million. But like I said I don’t have a clue if it’s right.
I can save you the trouble. If you see a number ignore it. Unless theyre an agent, Coach, or they live in the players house then how would they know?

I like his athleticism and think we’d be able to find a role for him. To play devil’s advocate though, am I the only one who feels like starting point guard might not be the best role for him even though that’s what we seem to be penciling him in for? He has more career turnovers than assists and ran a negative ratio every year until posting a 1.3:1 AST:TO ratio this year. I know we run a lot of action through our center instead of depending on a guard to totally dominate the ball, but that still worries me a little, especially for a guy who would be making a jump in level of competition.

I didn't see him play this year but not sure about Pierre playing PG just glancing at the numbers....3.9 A vs 2.9 TO per game. He had several games with 5 or more TO's....one 7 TO game.

After watching last year we need someone who can confidently receive the ball and bring it up to half court under pressure.

Hopefully he don’t commit to SMU now in like 15 minutes. Please at least make it to the visit now.
I know it seems like when we hear they are going to visit it does seem like 15 mins later they're committing somewhere else.

I didn't read your post before posting mine. But, he and Oweh playing together would be a bad combo IMO.

Just playing DA here, but I wonder if that had anything to do with the players surrounding him and how much he had the ball in his hands.

Truth is I'm not sold on any of these guys coming from smaller programs. They can add to the mix but I can't see many of them dominating players who are already stars at the P5 level.

You could be right. But, let’s keep in mind, he was on a team that bullied GT in the NIT with 8 total players. This guy was by far the best player on the team. He has to make it happen on that team. Would he have to take those risks here? Maybe, but I would suspect with better players and a system that takes the pressure off individualism, he will thrive.

When college basketball players are getting $50,000-$75,000 for EACH game they play then something is BAD wrong. This is insanity and as much as I love UK basketball, I’m not sure how long I’m gonna last. There are sick people, needy people, veterans, and about 100 other categories that money like this could really help.

Priorities are in the wrong place. Hope some level headed people can figure a way out of this. Don’t blame some of these coaches for bailing.
Unfortunately we live in an entertainment and economy driven society. No one cares about poor people or quality of life of others.

Kids going hungry and families going bankrupt from medical expenses, but man did you see that dunk last night?

We just need to keep paying people 1,000 times more than the median US income. There is so much wealth in the country, but people are the worst kind of people. Can’t get out of their own way most of the time.

Anyways, quit trying to be a socialist yabba.. 😉

True but his usage rate was almost 32%

We need scorers, JJ and Lewis can be PG’s.

So are we still in the race for Pierre? We got Lowe and now there is talk about Yates. We need Pierre badly and then 3 bigs.
