Cal will play his five starsOle miss and Arkansas are reaching desperate territory for a scoring guard
Yes and even more interesting for Lamar. Lamar and him graded out about the same on offense and defense but Lamar was WAY above in 3% makesGood stays out of SEC
I was thinking same thing they are looking more at the PF/C spot they really need help there. The wings are guards are solid with what they have there and coming inOle miss and Arkansas are reaching desperate territory for a scoring guard
Bet he got a big oil money bag
They were but the are solid at the wing spot on returning players and freshman comingCal will play his five stars
I am surprised if Cal even pursues Pierre
I know, isn’t it great?!Ole miss and Arkansas are reaching desperate territory for a scoring guard
Yeah. SMU is a mega rich private school. Go look at some of their alumni, the “pony express” in the 80s is the tip of the iceberg. Now that pay for play is legal, they’ll be a top 25 program across any sport the donors want them to beThey are spending on football. Guess they're going to get into basketball too?
Sure was wicked lol....#wicked
I've said it before in other threads. Anymore it's not history, tradition or how many championships you have recruiting kids anymore. nil has brough more players into the game. It used to be the best of the best would go to the blue bloods, but now they go to whoever can write the fattest check. That's why there's more competition for recruits than there used to be.Yeah. In the short term I agree but long-term how willing are boosters gonna be to cut a check for a player when the results aren’t there? At some point boosters will get tired of paying a kid $2+million dollars only to miss the tournament.I've said it before in other threads. I don't disagree that this won't evolve over time into something else entirely. In the short term I agree but long-term how willing are boosters gonna be to cut a check for a player when the results aren’t there? Yep, that big Dallas money.Yeah. SMU is a mega rich private school. Go look at some of their alumni, the “pony express” in the 80s is the tip of the iceberg. Now that pay for play is legal, they’ll be a top 25 program across any sport the donors want them to be
It’s easy to forget because of how unnatural it still feels, but SMU is an ACC team now. He’ll get enough exposure there if he’s actually good.I think exposure and playing on the big stage is important as well. Most mid major guys transfer to a big program. This decision is odd.
SMU is in the ACC now so technically more exposure and a bigger stage than they used to be on. They're a P4 school now.I think exposure and playing on the big stage is important as well. Most mid major guys transfer to a big program. This decision is odd.
We aren’t quite in that spot but we are in desperate territory for a SG as far as being able to compete for a title. Wilkerson is a must have.Ole miss and Arkansas are reaching desperate territory for a scoring guard
Exactly. I thought this since the beginning. Boosters will only keep giving their money with no results/titles for so long before they stop. It’s the big reason the current system isn’t sustainable. The high end guys should be around a million at the very most. Even that’s alot to expect boosters to shell out year after year.In the short term I agree but long-term how willing are boosters gonna be to cut a check for a player when the results aren’t there?
