Been critical of his lack of using them when the team is blowing leads, in the past, but man did he utilize them well yesterday when the opposite was the case!!! 2 in the 1st half, both fairly early on IIRC, then a 3rd at the 17:30 or so mark, down 19, which almost HAD to be called right there and then. Absolute brilliance on his behalf and it turned the tide of the game. Also....amazingly...he never had to use TO #4!!!!

KUDOS, COACH, KUDOS!!!

Yes did the opposite of usual. Didn’t use a timeout at the end of the first half, and magically we score at the buzzer for the first time in like 10 games (instead of the other team somehow getting the ball back when we have it with the shot clock off)

And didn’t use the last one at the end of the game either, let the guys figure it out

You have one TO in the first half that you lose if you don’t use it. Almost every coach uses it late if they haven’t already. I get your point though — at times that late TO doesn’t seem to accomplish much.

We used 2 in the 1st half relatively early-on IIRC. PSU used one late.

How dare you question Pike’s usage of time outs or substitution patterns?
Have you ever coached at this level.
You’re just a lowly fanatic witb RU lineage that goes back over 100 years when you combine you and your dad
Sit back and enjoy the games without saying a word 🤣
And that backhanded comment “Kudos Coach” as if he needs your affirmation…stop embarrassing yourself 😊

Timeouts were used perfectly and had to be called. You can't be thinking about saving timeouts when you're on the verge of getting blown out.
