Did anyone notice or post comments about the Pinson elbow?
I replayed the play several times for a UNC fan and they agreed it was a dirty play. Not sure but I think it was with about 10 minutes to go.
Grayson turned to run back on defense and Pinson very sneakily raised his arm to hit Grayson as he turned.
You may remember Grayson rubbing his neck for a few minutes.
Please post a video or picture of the incident if you can. No foul was called.
Pinson knew what he was doing.

It was definitely intentional but Pinson was pretty good at hiding it.
He turned his shoulder and extended elbow just as Grayson turned near the free throw line.
Best play he has made all year.

I didn't concern myself with whether it was intentional or not... or whether he was preemptively paying it forward because Grayson deserved it for future actions.

Next play.

Normally I would agree with the next play philosophy. Ideally, that is how is should be. But, with the Witch Hunt against Grayson and the announcer bias against Duke in general, their needs to be some push back. Grayson gets abused on a regular basis and doesn't get nearly as many calls as he should. Now, because Grayson finally retaliated, he will get even less calls and opposing players will foul him even more, including intentional cheap shots, without suffering the consequences.
