Let me start out by saying I feel bad for the kids playing at Louisville but at some point doesn't Pitino have to be held accountable? I am tired of hearing him whine to the media about how it is a raw deal. He seems to come out of every scandal he is involved in unscathed. From the waitress to this scandal I don't understand how the university can keep paying his salary.

Yeah, some Universities just seem to be able to skate along unscathed in spite of scandals. Not naming anyone close by , you understand....
hurting current guys for something that others did suck.....they should take away wins/acheivements that were accumulated during the time of said allegations...imo
You do realize this is the same school that hired the Football Coach that had just been fired from Arkansas for a sex scandal, and just got a big raise. I expect Pitino to not only keep his job but also get a pay increase.

I am sorry, but I just can't buy the poor kids line too much. I think Pitino is a great coach and have absolutely nothing against Louisville. But, I have heard virtually nothing about the Ville other than scandals. If you pick a school associated with scandals and one hits, I will not shed a tear. I mean think about it, how do these coaches go into a kid's home and sell the parents? Yet right after Pitino's sex scandal, he reloads? You can't tell me these kids don't have a clue. Their is a reason Northwestern, Stanford, and other schools who manage to avoid these kind of things so rarely make their list.
Have to concur w/df on the "poor kids" mantra. Its getting old. The recruits seallowing Roy/Larry's lines of no sanctions get no sympathy from me either. Gang be patient, that hammer IS going to fall!
I don't recall anyone ever telling me that life is fair. Lots of worse things happening in the world.

So it does not make a lot of sense to assume that only recruits who were serviced but chose to go elsewhere were involved...but those who stayed were not. This did not end years ago. This continued until recently.
