The Rob Reinhart dude reporting that is a phony. He also said Bryce Hopkins has received offers from Dayton, Vermont, Tarleton State (BCG), and Iona despite having a no contact tag. He is not a credible source.
Seems a little lateral though I know Xavier is a better basketball program. Not sure he couldn’t have landed better.

Im not sold on him being great, or young for that matter. Hes solid, but nothing more imo.

I was actually surprised to look it up and see that he’s still only 42 for as long as he’s already been coaching. He wasn’t impressive at Minnesota, but nobody really has been at that particular job for a long time if ever. The Xavier job seems to be a pretty consistent springboard to a true power conference job lately, so I’m sure he’s hoping to improve his stock enough for another shot at the big time. He’s young enough that I think someone will give it to him if he’s successful at Xavier. Only time will tell if he’s up to that task.
Richard did have a pretty good tweet a couple weeks ago. There was a viral video of the old man yelling at his St. John's team about facing adversity earlier this year. Richard retweeted it and said it was PTSD for him remembering when he didn't clean up his room as a kid.
