Social media is what separates Duke from any other college athletic program, even Alabama football. We have the largest social media following of any program in the country, by a wide margin if I'm not mistaken.
I think Capel learned how much easier it is to sell a program if you have a huge social media following. Not saying it's right, but a lot of recruit care more about a school's social media following than about the programs available in the Business School.

Yes indeed! Lots of recruits have mentioned Duke’s social media brand is what attracted them to Duke and Capel is selling his program and not making it all about him (unlike some coaches on social media who’s name rhymes with John Calipari).
We’ve dodged this issue long enough. It’s inevitably going to happen. We need to discuss who I should hire as my assistant coaches. I hear there’s a guy in Boston that people like.
They should all come from this board. We have several whof are well qualified and you will know who they are when we start playing bad or lose a game or two. OFC
I can think of one guy, but his time is far too valuable to be wasted as an assistant coach.
