Pitt's star runningback James Connor diagnosed with cancer

Even though he plays for Pitt, I always enjoyed watching him run. One of the best running backs out there who is not named Henry or Fournette, underrated IMO. He was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma. Best wishes to him, hope he has full and speedy recovery.

Damn I hate Pitt and everything they stand for with passion but I hope and pray that Connor can overcome this. I agree 100% Connor is a great back and is very underrated. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery and is tearing it up in the NFL soon. I will be pulling for this kid and wish him nothing but the best!

But I hate hearing about a young man's cancer diagnosis, his jersey colors in this case are irrelevant.

Terrible shame. My mother-in-law beat that cancer. Pray that he can too. Young and strong should be beneficial.

Kid has been through some chit......A good friend of mine beat late stage of this and that was about 10 years ago so I'm sure they have even better treatment now!!! Best wishes for the young man that's for sure

All rivalry crap aside, these are kids. We too often forget that. I hope James kicks this and comes out the other side stronger. It's been a tough year for him and I wish him the best.
