You’re missing the point as to why certain kids buy into the what we here in Nebraska perceive to be a Clownshow. I tend to agree FWIW, their antics are a little hard to watch, and those terms don’t exactly resonate with me either.

Wasn’t legal paying players until just the last couple years, in case ya missed it. It now is, and it’s changed recruiting IMMEASURABLY. Walker’s a success story, undoubtedly. Meanwhile, like 80% of the starting QB’s in the NFL come from a half dozen schools (or so it seems)… but they’d all be Paid Players.

You seriously believe that more than a tiny fraction of kids coming outta HS today are gonna pick Nebraska over a team paying them twice as much? AT ALL? Gotta lot of faith in GenZ, lol. Look around you. Let’s see how long it takes Carter Nelson to bail. He should go somewhere else.

We’re fighting with a shrinking number of schools for a lesser class of talent. Do you not understand that, seriously? I’ll listen, in earnest. But that’s exactly what’s happening…
