PJ was put in a hard cast, but it says there is confirmation that its just a sprain and no fracture. Also says that it is only precautionary. He is obviously out for tonight's game, but what are the chances he plays Saturday? Or at all? Have you ever heard of being put in a hard cast for precautionary reasons, and playing a week later?

I originally had Kentucky in the FF for all of my brackets. Now, I have Wofford over Kentucky in the Round of 32... Got UNC coming out in some, and Auburn coming out in other brackets. Disappointing for sure. Looks like UNC has a fairly manageable region.

Doesn't impact my Duke-UT finals.
Hate it for him though if he can't play.
But with or without him, I don't think they are final 4

Wofford isn't beating Kentucky. PJ will be back next weekend for the Cheats or Auburn.
They are pretty lethal from three point range. An area in which you guys have had a hard time defending. I see uk still winning, but it might be too close for comfort

I think they beat Wofford or SH without him. Iowa State may be a different story. I could still see that one going either way. After that though, I'd say gig is up

I definitely think it would be close, but honestly, I have Seton Hall beating them tonight.

PJ being out has tempered a lot of expectations around the Blue Grass.

Wofford? Seriously? They haven't beaten a single team worth anything this year. Every decent team they face beats them.

Come on now.

Of course. It would for any team losing their best player. one guy can make all the difference in the world.

Like I said in another thread, how many titles do the Bulls win without Jordan? How does uk do without AD? Duke without Laettner? So on and so on. The whole situation is really strange though

Hey, we are all rooting for you guys! We'd love to see UK win that E8 game against UNC and stamp their ticket to the final four. And then get knocked off by Saint Marys

Different story in NCAA tournament. That’s why you have so many upsets. Wofford has nothing to lose, but UK does, so part of it is the mental factor.

Word on the street is PJ would return next weekend if we advance. I like our chances against the heels if so.

Have a feeling this same UK fan isn’t looking forward to running into this Wofford team that just put away a pretty good Seton Hall team and that has to remind them of Auburn’s 3 point shooting. I’ve got UK winning in my bracket but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Wofford stays hot from deep and sends the Kitty cats home the 1st weekend.

Even if he returns, he won’t be 100%, or likely really close, even if the bones are “stable”. They could numb the ish out of it but even then that’s a tricky spot to try it on.

Kentucky can't beat the Heels. However, it's your lucky day, cause' Auburn is beating UNC. You didn't hear?

I feel the same way. I’m trying not not to believe in Kansas just yet

This makes perfect sense to me. I break my ankles and they put me in soft casts, so no break equals hard cast.

I mean the Cats already beat them once this year. But sure, they have no chance.

I do agree Auburn will give them all they want though.
I repeat little blew nation will not beat the cheats now.
