After Brooks and Washington making their college choice, Guru Gary is now an impressive 1 for 49 with his recruits college choice predictions. The "mafia"letting him down big time with the "intel". Somebody help that guy out, and buy him a damn dart board. He could put recruits faces on the dart board, blindfold himself, let the darts fly, and make out better than 1 for 49.

Come on Gary switch things up a bit. You are dragging the Gary name through the damn mud!

How old do you have to be, to make the OFC?
I'm 41, grew up in Western North Carolina, have lived in Las Vegas the last ten years (my job brought me here, I authenticate sports memorabilia for a company called Upper Deck). Been a Duke fan since Dawkins, Alarie, Bilas. I lurked here for 10-11 years (my first post was last year after stumbling upon Guru Gary) and have enjoyed reading everybody's posts. Very knowledgeable bunch of fans that like to have fun. My mother still lives in WNC and I try to make it back 3-4 times a year. I know somebody on this board has a get together every year...I would love to attend.

So they can get 5* players, if said players had relatives who were starters at UNC. Im obviously not a UNC fan, but I would be concerned about the size of that talent pool.

I am old. LOL 64. Thanks for the info on yourself. Post more often. OFC ( old farts club) guys are 55 plus and pre Coach K. Duke fans. OFC

And you'd have justifiable cause to have that concern. Again , Roy could lock-up a blue-chipper or two and this is all just talk. But as of now...right now!...any unx fans not concerned by this are kidding themselves. Some of the IC crowd have been reduced to hyping Luke Maye. God bless 'im but he's also a legacy recruit ( dad is Deems Maye ) and , at best , if he develops into a solid role player/contributor off the bench then unx fans should be happy with that. He's certainly not the kinda elite talent Roy used to regularly sign. Best case for unx right now? Pinson , Berry and Jackson all return for their senior years. However , it cuts both ways if that happens. As is , only 4 Top 15 kids from 2014/15 are still in school. Roy has 3 of 'em. He'll have the ONLY 3 if all return. Scandal fall-out? Please. Any recruiting problems ain't about the scandal. Look , I'm not crazy about this new age of OAD but it is what it is. Roy hasn't adapted and it ain't like he ain't tryin.'
