I thought it was 2 players he said were for sure coming in.
That's what I thought. I figured Perry was one no clue who the other could be.
I took at as being 2 guys completely separate from the incoming class. Who knows. Maybe 2 he’s bringing with him?
Barnhart said 2 players that Pope previously couldn't get to BYU had contacted him after hearing he got the Kentucky job!
I think he was talking about players in the portal that he was trying to get to come to BYU.
They wouldn’t come there but will come to Ky
Mitch said two players Pope could not get at BYU called him and said they are interested and would play for him at Kentucky. Those players were not named to the best of my knowledge at this time.
Considering the strict rules a player agrees to abide by at BYU, and that Pope still consistently had his teams in the top 30 of all college teams, I am hopeful that he will be able to recruit quality players to UK.
This. Not that anyone was committing. But that the Kentucky name opens the doors for who Mark Pope can recruit compared to BYU.
