This argument that bowl games don't matter but the cfp does is a joke. Why do the cfp games matter more. Calling it a playoff is comical. The champion of the ACC isn't even invited. How is that a playoff. The cfp is no different than the NIT. Only difference is at the end people declare the winner the national champion. Why play the season if a major conference champion doesn't get to participate.

You want a "playoff" then only and all winners get in. Anything else is a joke. The cfp will make lots of money which will make everyone happy. How is that different than a bowl game that makes a school lots of money. Seems pretty similar to me.

We almost got beat by Rutgers with no one opting out…how do you think our second and third team will do against Clemson? It’s going to be ugly.
This will be similar to the Outback Bowl where we were dominated by Arkansas. In that game we were playing with a depleted defense and couldn't stop KJ Jefferson.

And calling it an "obligation" is hilarious. Again, I remember when college football players enjoyed playing in college football games. Kirk and Desmond talked about that a couple years ago saying that kids today just don't love the game the way they used to. And they got crucified for it. They were absolutely right.

Loado is neurodivergent... lol...
