It’s your right to dig in and look dumb. See ya kid.
A 2 loss acc team that did not win their conference, or even get to play for it, didn't deserve to be in. I don't care what the current result are. If you want to argue otherwise, then every conference will just get rid of conference championships.

No one is hating, just calling out their trash resume. No one disputes they’re one of the most talented teams in the country. They got in because the ACC had to represented, just like the G5

That trash resume just beat the defending champs. AND walked into College Station and won a hard game there on the road. Basically they've won back to back ROAD games in the playoffs.

They've earned every bit of it.

Literally has nothing to do with their resume….never said they weren’t talented enough to win the whole thing. The argument was their resume. Quit being dense.

Anyone arguing that Miami shouldn’t be one of the top twelve teams but has no issue with Tulane and JMU isn’t serious or worth anyone’s time. #Crybabies

ND fans on social media won't shut up about it either. I have NO respect for quitters. Screw Notre LAME

BYU had just a good of an argument and played their butts off in a bowl game.

Notre Dame turned into Eric Cartman and went crying home.

Hindsight….never said they couldn’t win the whole thing. Like the previous poster said….their resume. Not touchy at all. I have no dog in the race. He was right about their resume and the criteria for making the playoff.

The subject of this thread is that the committee totally messed the playoff up by making the rule that let two garbage teams in and the playoff would have been stellar with Texas vs. Oregon and ND vs Ole Miss. Some just want to argue but nothing can change those facts. Nothing.

Texas and Michigan probably both should’ve been in. That was a great game.

Manning with 4 tuds was as impressive of a post season performance as I’ve seen.

They return a lot of dudes next year and will be tough.

Michigan all things considered looked pretty good. Late turnovers did em in but up until then they looked like they could beat horns and anyone in the playoffs.

Miami shocking everyone…tip of the cap. If Da U is back that will be a storyline this offseason and into next season.

That isn't a fact, that is 100% an opinion. The facts are, Miami lost games they shouldn't have and ND not being in a conference finally cost them. Neither played for a conference title, both JMU and Tulane did. Texas lost 3 games, one to an awful Florida team, they never belonged in this conversation.

My opinion, is the committee got it correct leaving ND out, and they also should've left Miami out. Your schools brand shouldn't be what gets you in.

Was Texas A&M not considered the third best team in the country going into Thanksgiving?

Who did Ohio State beat that was amazing? A Texas team that lost to Florida and went to OT with us?

Bama should have been the one left out. Three losses should be an automatic DQ for an at-large bid.

I'd say it's more admirable to have barely lost to Miami and TAMU (bad officiating cost the TAMU game) than it is to have been blown out by Florida State and then get smashed against Georgia.

You'd be losing your mind if Kentucky was considered in the playoff for a month, never loses, and then got jumped by a team for beating a 5 win Auburn team, and then get jumped again by a team who didn't even play, and all of this due to backroom deals and lobbying in a board room. Gimme a break.

"Quitters." You get this upset at someone not being interested in the NIT in basketball? Or players opting out of the Little Caesar's Pizza Bowl?

This "ND not being in a conference cost them" is a lie. That's ESPN garbage. Half of the field didn't even make a conference title game and played no extra game. ND was sacrificed to get Bama in as usual. That's what happened.

Who did Ohio State beat that was amazing? An overrated Texas team? Miami and TAMU's best wins were Notre Dame which is funny because the same people using this are also the ones who say ND sucks.

Join a conference. They played in no conference championship and head to head match ups matter.

Not to mention Notre Dame has spent 30 years getting into and losing bowls they dont deserve to be in. Bc they won a couple playoff games last season, one yr isn't a sample size, prior to that theyve lost every ny6 and better game, often getting blown out since like 94. The only bowls theyve won are bowls UK wins.

What a lame *** excuse. I'd be more mad my team thought they were above a bowl game. No one feels sorry for Notre Lame right now.

Got beat by the only two decent teams they played. And A&M ran them off the field.

And don't even get me started on their Charmin soft schedule next year.

How is bama even a part of this discussion? If Alabama doesn't play in the sec title game they have the same record as ND, but actually beat teams that made the playoffs. ND beats up on the little sisters of the poor, they didn't deserve to be in. BYU is the team that got screwed the most, especially after the committee included SMU last year.

Who was their win before the playoff? One win against Georgia. Their loss to FSU is horrible. Somehow that doesn’t matter to you but a last second field goal loss to Miami and OT loss to TAMU should get you canned??

You can’t argue TAMU and Miami were good when their lone good win was Notre Dame yet you claim they’re bad.

The committee sure thought they were better than Bama and Miami for several weeks. They only changed it when they needed to guarantee Bama get in. You can’t argue against the massive corruption of it. It’s undeniable based on the committee’s own quotes and rankings leading up to the selection.

I was partially with you until you said aTm ran them off the field. ND led most of the 2nd half and aTm scored with :13 seconds left to win 41-40. I am glad ND didn’t get in. No matter who gets in fans will argue all day long over it.

Yeah, I've slept since then. lol. For some reason I thought that score was like 21-40.

Point still stands ND lost their games to teams with a pulse.

And next year they're gauranteed a spot. Which is bass ackward. Their schedule next year is an absolute joke. They will get run off the field.
