So if you feel they should be knocked for losing to a higher classified team, then oh well. Really does not matter your seed now. We all just have to take one week at a time. There will be some good games this week and some upsets. It will be fun to see how it turns out....it does seem like some teams have to play there own confrence guys again but that adds to the excitement.....

They are actually ranked #693 in the nation.. (USA Today)..out of 16,047 schools...but before you make that face, they are ahead of 4A Pinecrest, Freedom and quite a few 4A perennial powers in NC. Not too bad for the #1 4A team in Virginia? I think that will serve NE well playing them during the season come playoff time.

Oh I'm not arguing that lake Taylor isn't a great team. I'm from Virginia beach, played at Ocean Lakes. I was just wondering, since it was being thrown around earlier, that they were nationally ranked: which poll was it in.

Funny you said that....I was at the NE/Edenton game in Edenton, and people were talking about going to see Ocean Lakes play again.......BEAST!

I remember seeing somewhere during the Week that they played Northeastern that they were ranked in the top 25 nationally. Don't ask me where though. All I know is I heard, I researched, and I saw. And apparently, others did as well. I don't know what happened between then and now. But props to NE for giving them a game.
