Please explain to me again why Houston would be a bad addition to the Big12

I would think Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, & Baylor want every perceived recruiting advantage they can keep versus Houston, which is already doing better than some of them in Texas.

Why does the Big 12 need to expand? OU has proven we can get a team into the playoff without a conference championship game. Would adding Houston increase or decrease our league revenue? Wouldn't it be better for the Big 12 to dump WVU and replace us with Houston or BYU?

I think the Big12 was a bad move for us. Too much travel and we don't recruit well enough to win it. The only benefit is money because nothing else has gotten better from the move

We recruit about the same as ever one else except for Texas and Oklahoma since we have been members of the conference according to rivals

Actually, I agree. Instead of buying a brand the B12 should take 4 schools and build the brand.

So you'd rather WVU was out of major college athletics and playing Temple, ECU, SMU, Tulsa, etc.--traveling even more than now but not getting any compensation or coverage? Yeah brilliant idea.

BYU has an awesome stadium setting.

Utah has at least four gorgeous national parks -- plus Monument Valley and Four Corners. It is within a day trip of Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, the Petrified Forest and Hoover Dam. Mountains. Canyons. Hoodoos. Buttes. Arches. Mesas. Red rock. Lakes of salt. Tabernacle choirs.

I would prefer two teams from the east, but BYU, is the only non p5 program that can almost hold their own weight financially.
