Hurley showed their true colors at the end of the game ..Justus was playing a great game and til he couldn't stand getting beat...ran that lip..then got ejected...then threw his helmet across the field...I bet the scouts just loved that huh?....then the #7 wouldn't even come shake hands ...PM brought a load of fans....we out numbered the home team from 4 hours away...the Cliff was no match for the Blues tonight...score could very well been 35-6

I was in the end zone near the concessions when that happened. He was cussing the referee something horrible. He is one great talent to do something like that but were all human and make mistakes. If he had that chance back I'm sure he would do it different. PM outnumbered Hurley fans by far I was shocked! I spoke with some down to earth folk while I was there though even and old opponent from my playing days. This is a small world for sure.If Hurley had a different approach to beat PM it might have made a difference obviously but Justice barely had 100 yards according to what I compiled. Next Friday should be a great game and if GW stadium holds 6,000 you can bet PM will bring half. Well traveled team the best I've seen in many years. On a side note everyone take notice of PM Jeremy Nelson who will probably break the vhsl career rushing record this Friday.No matter the score this is something that calls for a stoppage in play to recognize such a feat. Good luck to both teams.

Probably because of the one fan that went over the fence to get to the PM players/Coach knocked him (#6) down or nearly knocked him down, really couldn't see at that point it got a little congested.. My understanding was that the fans intention was NOT directed towards the player(s) but to one of the coaches.. either way, poor decision on his part and definitely uncalled for.. All in all, I'm positive that he regrets his actions today.. honestjohn60, I did make an attempt to locate you as well as a couple of others on the forum after the game for a handshake and just to put a face with the wealth of information you guys share on the game of football and these 16-17 year old young men that play the game we love.. Obviously, that didn't work out as planned however, I would have loved to meet you guys in person..Stay passionate and supportive, I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT YOU WILL and YES, THE REBELS WILL BE BACK, SOONER THAN LATER... GUARANTEED!!
