Good interview. I'd just like to point out to frame districts as "what the state wants to do" isn't exactly accurate, what the member schools voted for is precise.
Nice interview Edgy! Sounds like St. Rita will be on the young side next year. They need to survive those first four games. With Todd having a son as freshman in the fall the good news he should be there for at least 4 more years.
As far as District football goes if it gets a fair vote (only football schools vote and only one voter per co-op) I think it’s history. Several of the proponents terms end on the advisory board. And since the schools now have seen Steve Soucie’s projections a re-vote may flip the vote.
If that happens there will still be the problem of conference shopping and scheduling non-con game that will need to be addressed.
