Any of you guys playing this? I've got grown-*** adult friends on Facebook who are running around town catching imaginary pets. "I've heard you can catch a Pikachu over by Hurstbourne and Shelbyville!"

WTF is happening?

LOL I had not heard of this until Friday. But grown adults are indeed doing this.

Our church is a Pokemon stop or whateverTF they're called. My 15 year old is playing it ironically, (I hope)

"As people across the country try to 'catch them all', some in Missouri might find themselves losing all their possessions after suspects used the new Pokemon Go app to commit robberies.
Teens ranging in age from 16 to 18 in St. Louis and St. Charles counties are believed to have committed as many as 11 armed robberies using the new game"

"Already, numerous instances of people walking into traffic and wiping out while playing the game, eyes glued to their cell phone screen, have been reported across the country."

It is rare when I have to consider a circumstance where I support armed robbery. This may be one.

Ha, it's fake but I wish it wasn't. This quote is great:

Lamar Hickson admitted to police that he was playing the newly released Pokemon app game know as “Pokemon Go” while driving. He said “Sh*t if you wanna catch them all you gotta risk it all so I put my car in park and started tossing these balls”.

I've seen like a 1/6th of my Facebook waste their entire weekend driving around to find Pokemon. Assuming this won't die down for a while (just like the original Pokemon didn't for years).. now's the time to take advantage of lazy America and get a leg up on the rest of these millennials. Wish more crap that consumed a large chunk of society came out more often. I'll gladly capitalize..

Today is the first I've heard about it and I'm already over it. Amazing the stupid crap that become a huge fad and some of the seriously smart things fall by the wayside.

Don't know about Pokemon but I've become a freak for some Harry Potter since Luna Lovegood became the main theme.

I would certainly do her, but she's not very good looking for a celebrity. Kind of whack, to be honest.

I went back and looked.

Still having trouble finding a problem, especially with the pics from the shoot I can't post.

Maybe it's me.

Nintendo's stock went up like 8% just because of Pokemon Go. And it's a free app.

When they do this type of technology for adults who don't want to play kiddie games, then it will have some practical use. Until then, I'm not going around chasing virtual **** on a GPS just for the lulz.

Can't really make gun of the pokemon geeks, I collect autos and old video games and consoles so I'm in the crowd I guess. F it, better than collecting pogs...

Nintendo isn't ever gonna make the jump. I don't guess they have to really. But man some sort of cool adult SNES2 would be the ****.

I like geeks. People I am seeing playing are the type of people who had no clue what a Pokemon is about. They are just playing it because the Smiths down the street are playing it and they can't be left out of the "new phenomenon". Like my co worker. She's playing it and it makes me livid. Grown *** woman riding all over town at age 43 finding cute cuddly animes on her phone. F****** moronic.

Kids and I have played P-Go for several weeks and had a great long weekend with a lot of success. (It wasn't supposed to be a long weekend, but Saturday night we took off for a a Pokeman Stop in Huntsville and before the night was over had made 12 different Stops, (7 successful) and ended up in Montgomery by mid-day on Sunday. Kept chasing Sunday night into south Georgia and just decided to crash Sunday night in Columbus, GA. Working our way back to Nashville this afternoon--all in all 3 days, 27 creatures and 17 eggs.

The reason it's so big is because of BLM and the shootings. That **** doesn't happen and not everybody feels the need to jump on the latest fad to forget about the real world.

Until they follow squirtle into the bad neighborhood and get mugged. Gets real then.

You know in Singapore that they aren't allowing Pokemon Go. Some Australian guy got fired as an expat there because he was criticizing the country on Facebook for not having Pokemon Go. Got sent back home. Ha!

Anything to get the kids off the couch and out into the real world...while still staring at said world through their phone.

Me and a buddy of mine came up with something similar in like 09 but the technology was not quite there yet and this involved hunting treasure at various bars vs anywhere.

I love new technology and interesting use cases for it so it's neat to see people getting into augmented reality that doesn't involve porn.

It's a free app but you can also buy your way through the game as well, so I can see why the stock is up. Once VR becomes more mainstream you'll see alot more of these crazes.

Long night, especially since I have to start work in a couple of hours. But 10 new creatures picked up after an extended late night drive home from Georgia. Planned to get home around midnight last night but picked up a lot of action in the Monteagle area. If you are thinking about a road trip--look to Monteagle.
