If the conspiracy theory in the other thread is true, maybe nj.com doesn't want to be the "mark"

This is like high school drama. Who’s subtweeting who. Gimme a break. And I still hope after this blows over Hobbs gets the final message and takes away NJ advance media’s press privileges at any and all RU sporting events

I do hope you are using hyperbole to make a point, and that you don't intend your suggestion to be taken literally. Because it's a really bad one.

I think it's hilarious that Politi thinks he has the ability and resources to "call in the dogs." Nobody gives a **** what Politi thinks. I don't even think the losers we have in our Administration and Board of Trustees and in Trenton care what Politi thinks.

Politi didn't use that phrase, OP did. Actually the phrase OP used was "call off the dogs", which I think means the opposite.

Well in a world full of hyper-position look at me "personalities" , I'll take his stepping in to bring it down a notch and into balance. Whatever his motivation. Good or arrogant.

This is credit positive.

It does mean the opposite. What I was saying is that Politi couldn't call off the dogs unless he thought he had already called in the dogs; which would mean he was delusional. However, you were right - I misread it and that was the OP's comment.

Hey, Steve, that doesn't change that many of us here feel that you s/b fired for being a penishead. BTW, how is Jeff Monken doing these days, and do you still think RU should hire him?
