Another SB I'll never watch. Another free Sunday! They make it so easy to not care.

Between the sketchy and arbitrary officiating, the mostly poor commentators, the woke BS, and the virtue-signaling, the NFL is like that ex-girlfriend you once broke up with that ran off with a loser, married the drunkard, got arrested and had her mugshots on regional news, and moved to Dearborn MI for the "nightlife." Just confirms you made a good decision.

New Yorkers, as hard as it is to believe, really don't understand what is looming for them, if they DO elect Mamdani.

They truly have a "why not, what's the worst that can happen?" attitude. LOL
Giving access a Muslim communist doesn't seem like a good idea, especially with the intel access that he'll have on top of his economic retardary.

Mitch didn't go that direction, I misremembered(?) and we are left with where we are at.

Except there is no clause that says he can't be dismissed later for something that happened years ago or has been ongoing. Patterns of behavior for instance.

The original 2012 contract is extended with amendments, not a whole new document. The payable due at 60 days after dismissal ******** didn't start until the third extension in 2017.

In the words of an awe shucks poster, if you are interested:

^No real point other than at the time it appeared that Mitch was in the dark.

Hard to know since he's not said.

Would absolutely change zero direction.

?

Maybe you're thinking I'm only talking about the OC, here. Not sure. I'm talking about HC in that paragraph. Changing HC would matter.

This is one of those "it cost what it cost" deals. I also think every sec coach uses mark stoops to get a better salary. :ROFLMAO:

If they have a decent agent, theyd be stupid not to do that. Can say the same thing for Bamas coach and others across the country.

"They are paying Stoops $9 mil and you are paying me x... Really?"

If you're the ugly guy with a better looking twin brother, and a bunch of good looking athletic friends, you BETTER bring some other attribute that is more than everyone else brings to the relationship. Like it or not, UK Football is the ugly brother to UK Basketball and in a football conference with more than a dozen teams with more success than them.

You HAVE TO PAY MORE for the players and coaches than the rest of the conference if you want to truly compete long term. Until then expect not to go any higher in the pecking order than you're willing to spend to get there. Take the Ls.

Let's face the facts- Kentucky fans want a dollar store miracle cure. So does everyone else. The difference is that Bama, Georgia, and the rest of the conference all know that football doesn't work that way. They don't all complain about NIL, higher ticket prices, or licensing fees because they know it's part of the battle. EVERY dollar increase is a root canal to UK fans when it comes to football. Lol

If you want success you have to invest. You can't just ***** and complain because Bama is Bama, and UF is UF, etc etc etc. When you have success you need to celebrate it and THEN throw more money at it to take it to the next level. If everyone had done that, Stoops would've already moved on and the fans that complained would've already had a new coach.

Instead they griped and moaned through 2 ten win seasons. They need to own that and not only decide but follow through on doing better if it ever comes around again. People shouldn't complain if they're not willing to do better. It's just hypocritical bs.

For years, birth defects have been on the rise in the U.K. because so many of their Pakistani community among other immigrants in England often marry their first cousins. Did the English decide enough was enough and steer back towards sanity and civilization...

Nope, of course not. Their National Health Service says marrying one's first cousin is really amazing.

"The NHS has been urged to apologize for publishing guidance extolling the benefits of first-cousin marriage despite the increased risk of birth defects..."

THIS RIGHT HERE is why you need to think about the slippery slope of legislation regarding making 14 yr olds adults in the eyes of the law. EVERY single bill needs to be looked at for how it's going to be abused, because you HAVE TO KNOW by now they are going to try to abuse it and then push it even lower. Remember the "gay rights" battle that has gone EXACTLY the direction you were told it would go back in the 80s?

Stop giving them the rope to hang this country.

Journalism 2025. Portland is heaven. It has trees and coffee:

1. There are ZERO journalists in the left-wing national media, and the ones in "rigjt-wing" mainstream media are fired if they ARE journalists.

2. Portland will outlive Trump. No question. It's a stupid thing to say or argue. Might as well hold up a sign "Water is wet" while being hosed down by law enforcement.

3. Portland has green grass and coffee because "communism" hasn't fully taken hold yet. When it does the grass will be green because blood will fertilize and water it like it has all over the world.

4. The big cities are the problem. Too much corruption to prosecute crime. Too little sense to go around to fix it.

Another pick that nobody who watches football listens to. Then when we complain at how shitastic the show is, we'll be called "racist" by the ******* morons on the left.

The day that the mush-brains stop giving me grief, is the day that I'll have to self assess.

Criticism from the left is like the canary in the coal mine. When it stops/dies then you know that you've taken a wrong turn in your thinking.

I was shocked that the Packers ended up with a tie.

Love was running for his life most of the game. You can tell that they're missing 3 starters on the O-line, and 2 starters at WR. If they don't get healthy over the bye week it might be a long season.

Also, Packers DC, Jeff Hafley got thoroughly outcoached. Hafley stubbornly stayed with a standard base 4 man pass rush, when it was clear that it wasn't getting the job done. Add to that that when had to play 3rd string CB Carrington Valentine and 3rd string safety Bo Melton (who was a WR last year LOL) when Hobbs and Bullard went out early in the 2nd half the wheels fell off. The Packers really should have addressed the secondary in last years draft but they refused. The starters are sufficient, but the backups are trash.

Don't even get me started on special teams. If they don't get a FG and an extra point blocked in back to back weeks, they're 4 and 0 right now.

If's, but's and what not. They'd better pray that the O-line gets healthy during the bye, or Love won't last the season.

The entire league is facing the problem of not enough stellar OL to finish a season.

Imo, the Packers are well positioned for the post season BECAUSE they lost their OL early but may get most of them back for the playoffs. (May not have seen updates on injuries that say otherwise.) Detroit lost too much to be a long term threat. Bears are still Bearsing even though the offense looks better. Minnesota just isnt...

All three of your competitors have some big issues to overcome to keep Green Bay from the playoffs, and even more for the rest of them to win in the playoffs. I think it's down to Philly, GB, and SF in their respective divisions and conference, but I haven't been able to watch much of the west to know if Seattle is going to be threat in the playoffs. TB looks OK but can't afford any injuries to sustain
