Stein has an offensive scheme called "bunch 3" which has caused quite an uproar within cf. Qbs and receivers will want to play in his system. The way he uses the bunch system is really hard to defend, just watch oregon’s offense.

He also understands NIL. This could be a fun ride.
He is a very good OC for sure. Will that translate to being a good Coach? Time will tell but its a change in direction UK definitely needed.

JQ and Mo probably help the rebounding. But yeah...we still aren't gonna have a great offense unless JQ comes in averaging 20 or something.

Only positive from tonight is I liked what I saw from Jelavic...and I don't know the minutes offhand but didn't seem like Garrison played much.
Yeah, the only thing that bothered me about Jelavic is his still shooting 3's when he should stick with the inside game. I know he shot 3's in the international leagues, but his 3-point shooting has not been good so far this year.

JQ isn't playing for Kentucky. Write it down.
If it happens, I will call you on it later. However, I agree with you so... I am a hypocrite and will have to call myself on it as well. 😁

I also think that Lowe may not play much this year because his shoulder injury could be chronic. Mo will probably be the only one who comes back.

Yeah, I am happy for a change but will take a wait and see approach. This is UK football after all. Not known for being a football first or second for that matter program. Yes, we want it, but... It will be a hard sell for players I think.

That culture definitely needs to change. You have to feed the bulldog and make football a winner.

I ran across this article about Brad White going to be the DC at Florida.

Haha it's so stupid, I highlighted the things that made laugh. Brad White is a 'future scheduling nightmare' for Kentucky.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ot...S&cvid=692fe3956c2e40acb20a55dac4d3d70a&ei=13

From the article:

For Big Blue Nation, this isn't just a standard coaching departure; it is a future scheduling nightmare.
With the SEC’s permanent opponent model, Kentucky is now guaranteed to face its former defensive architect every single year.

Sumrall has always spoken highly of his time at Kentucky, but now that he is tasked with rebuilding Florida, he is weaponizing that familiarity against the Wildcats. He isn't just hiring a coordinator; he is hiring the guy who knows Kentucky's personnel better than anyone else.

When Will Stein brings his high-octane "PS5 Offense" to The Swamp next season, he won't be facing a generic defense. He will be scheming against a coordinator who knows the weaknesses of Kentucky's returning offensive linemen and the tendencies of the locker room, if any of the players end up staying anyway.

The chess match between Kentucky’s new future and its defensive past is now set for every single season.

This article was originally published on wildcatbluenation.com as Kentucky will now have to scheme against its former defensive coordinator every season."

Lord. There's regular people that get fired and wrecked for speaking out against the most powerful and privileged people. I used an example of how ridiculous this group is with how they debank and demonetize. Do you understand why TikTok was forced into a sell to the IDF's biggest private donor? You understand why said group is spending millions upon millions to try and target the right online and in our churches?

You should care about who rules you and your country and your entire financial system and tries to silence your information.
I never said I didn't care about who is censoring me. I said I don't care or give credence to anything Kanye or Nick Fuentes says. Kanye is half whacked, and Nick Fuentes has nothing of value to say. He's not someone I want representing the voice of Conservatives.

I didn't know this trend was going on, that such a high percentage of students were registering as disabled:

"Soon, many of these schools "may have more students receiving [disability] accommodations than not, a scenario that would have seemed absurd just a decade ago."

As students and their parents have recognized the benefits of claiming disability—extended time on tests, housing accommodations, etc—the rates of disability at colleges, and especially at elite colleges, has exploded.

America used to stigmatize disability too severely. Now elite institutions reward it too liberally. It simply does not make any sense to have a policy that declares half of the students at Stanford cognitively disabled and in need of accommodations."

@HymanKaplan

Trump should name Kaplan the Math Czar and get this fixed:

"The number of Gen Z college freshmen who are entering universities without high school math skills is skyrocketing — as SAT scores are plummeting, a stunning new report has found.

Even more shocking — many of the students can’t even do middle-school level math, meaning their skills are fifth grade or below.

Experts say this phenomenon, combined with steadily rising high school graduate rates, show that the country is suffering a massive grade inflation problem."

The University of California San Diego, for instance, has reported a staggering 30-fold increase in the number of students unable to do basic arithmetic over the last five years."

But one factor cited was also grade-inflation, a practice widespread across the country where teachers and administrators arbitrarily boost students’ grades to meet state or federal graduation rate requirements in order to receive funding."

I mean, not to state the obvious that if Sumrall is worried about Kentucky, then he's already, you know, getting off on the wrong foot. LOL
Well we did blow them out 38-7--and beat them head to head more with an actual commitment of money and resources toward football (yeah with CMS).

For those talking about how we beat a bad UF team with a fired coach (Ill equipped), they sure took advantage for decades when we were like that. No one at UF seems to complain about those wins

Not sure if JQ, Lowe and Mo can make much of a difference on the offense even if healthy. That's a big "if" too. No flow whatsoever.
I was halfway of the mindset that this team was playing better without Mo in the lineup. I think him and Oweh have some kind of beef that's wrecking the flow of things when they are both in there. Just my opinion. though last night, especially that second half was just a cluster. neither team could buy a bucket for a really long stretch, then UNC decided, they were going to be the aggressor and take over the last 5 minutes. Though, I don't see how that shouldn't have been an and 1 on Oweh's bucket late or when Chandler was knocked to the floor on his shot attempt.

Honestly, I'd rather have Mo in the lineup than Oweh. Neither can shoot, but Mo at least would have helped on the boards. You definitely can't have them in at the same time though. UNC's 17 offensive boards, more than anything, lost us that game.

JQ needs to provide rebounding and rim protection. He needs to give us second chance opportunities on the offensive end by corralling our copius amounts of missed shots. Need somebody out there who can field Aberdeen's air balls.

I’d rather have a deformed small handed Marty Robbins than either one of them two

this is going to be a bad day today.

Stein needs to get as much of "his team" set in the first year, local loyalties be damned. It will take a couple of years of recruiting and portal raids to get his full effect, however, you will see changes in year one, imo.

Expectations.....somehow try and find 6 wins next year against that brutal schedule. If not, then at least show improvement on both sides of the ball. Years 2-4.....6/7 wins and maybe find another one somewhere to get a bigger bowl.

That's about some of the most ridiculous nonsense I've ever read. First off, UK will be replacing the bulk of it's offensive line. and the "tendencies of the locker room" will be completely different under a new coaching staff.

I agree that the chemistry just isn't there right now. Fortunately the SEC is not nearly as strong this year. Alabama is the highest ranked team at #12. Unfortuntely the schedule doesn't favor the Cats. The Cats still have to play 12 of the current Top 25 teams, 2 on a neutral court, 4 at home and 6 on the road.
