I have a hard time believing Patel would leave his dream job of FBI Director over one issue, even one as glaring as the Epstein files. Bongino leaving seems a little more believable. Very doubtful Bondi is going anywhere, a deputy director doesn't have the pull to demand firings at the DOJ. I do believe the reports there was an argument over zero Epstein related info being released by the DOJ.

Well, this Bondi thing is a right mess. Can't say I ever liked her as a pick. She is anti gun and she runs her mouth way to much. The fact that her former boss in Pfizer had a major case dismissed on her watch makes me not like her even more. She is most defiantly a major Trump ally, however, and he most likely depends upon her to keep the DOJ off his ***.
That said, Bondi is most definitely operating under Trumps orders, and if Bongino continues to push he is going to be looking for a new job. Any empty suit can do his job and there is no shortage of those.
Why would Trump do that? There are all sorts of reasons why. It is a powerful blackmail tool. Mutually assured destruction. Depending upon who was on the list it could seriously cause world wide destabilization. A deal with Israel. There is no master list. Others I am sure.
