Gotta be honest.. I dont love Rob Schneider being the the right wing's more prominent political comedian. His message isnt wrong, but that was tough to watch. Was he slurring the word "tylenol"?
He said Tylenol Three times. The middle one he slipped up on, all the rest of his words were spoken clearly. He didn’t seem drunk at all to me. Go look up his interview with Glenn Beck. The dude is a whole lot smarter than he lets on in his shows or movies.

False, but almost true. I truly like turkey. I eat it more times during the year than the holidays. But agree with the chicken sentiment, love that even more. the best thing on the turkey for me though is the wings and legs. I eat most of the turkey when we have it as my wife and daughter while liking it, get tired of it quickly. I also buy those peppered or smoked turkey slices for my sandwiches.
Dark meat is the best on a turkey. White is flavorless and dry. Both still need a bunch of gravy and stuffing with it.

Friend of mine once showed me how they cook their Thanksgiving turkey. The white meat from theirs is always tender and juicy, so I asked him how they do it.

They put theirs. 1. in a lidded roasting pan with the breasts down rather than facing up, 2. With chicken broth and some veggies in the bottom of the pan, 3. only take the lid off for a very short time at a higher temp to brown the skin. They also dry rub the spices onto the entire turkey inside and out, then coat it with a thin coat of olive oil. Since we've been doing the same, we've had tons of compliments on our turkeys cooked this way.

This same guy thaws his store bought turkeys in a tub with cold tap water rather than in a refrigerator or any other method. I don't. Elieve it's a ritual bath. Probably very unceremonious

Cooking with breast down is good. It works.

I cook mine on a higher degree at first until the skin browns and then slow cook from then until done. I also use a cooking bag. Helps hold juices in. Let the bird sit for a while before carving to let it cook more and stabilize the juices.

I’m a dark meat guy and I LOVE the drumsticks. I use some of the wing meat in my stuffing.

I am all for sticking it to big food. Just like I posted above they have grown all powerful from tax subsidies. Big meat has been involved in price collusion for decades and have been caught multiple times. Massie's bill won't do ish to help, though.

Thing is, farmers have been selling direct to the public for years, but people are not willing to pay the prices the farmer wants for their product. I know a guy who just closed up shop. There is plenty of feed corn to be had, but the cost of raising a beef is insane. People just won't pay 3k for full beef.

Massie's bill wants to allow custom meat processors, aka; slaughterhouses, to sell direct to restaurants and the public. He also wants to do away with inspections on said facilities. Many processors already sell direct, so I'm not sure what that's about, but no inspections is bad. I can't tell you how bad of an idea that is. If you have never been inside of a meat processor then you have no idea how bad the bad ones really are.

The problem right now with beef are multifold. Subsidies, again, have driven many beef farmers into grain farming because the profits are great, more stable, and less regulated. EPA is a ***** for farmers. Screw worms in Mexico are messing up the supply in a bad way. Worse still they are moving north and Texas is prime beef country. It's game over if they hit there. Water shortages in the west are causing people to give up farming all together. Herds are at a multi-decade low and are not recovering.

All of that has led to cattle selling sky high, the highest I have ever seen, and it doesn't seem like it's going to get better any time soon. If I were a conspiracy theorist I might just say it was done on purpose.

Agree there needs to be some sort of inspection. However if they weren't doing the right thing people would just punish them via free market. Its a tough situation where the fda should be acting differently because they are no longer anything close to their intended purpose.

I think some more debate and discussion could find a good balance. Instead we just went straight into finding a foreign solution. Will those meat producers be subject to the same fda scrutiny? I don't see how they can be.

Stephen Milller on Deniro: He hasnt made a movie worth watching in 30 years, has been degrading himself in flop after flop and is a broken shell of a man that nobody takes seriously, not even his own family.

He is settling into who he is now. I don't think he cares what his "base" thinks. This is his last term. It's all about him and his legacy now. He's repaying his ongoing campaign debts and getting his revenge. What happens along the way is inconsequential as long as it happens after his last year.

At this point I won't be surprised if he gets dual citizenship with Israel as his other country of choice. The only reason we're involved with Venezuela is Israel. Venezuela and Israel are not on speaking terms under Maduro.

I'd be willing to bet the same thing as far as Argentina. Likely has to be something political or monetary there for Israel to focus our interests.
lol this anti-semitism in MAGA needs to be removed from the movement

There has been a shortage of US produced beef for a while. I am not sure why. Maybe the Climate Activist are trying to get rid of the greenhouse gasses caused by cow farts?
Droughts, high input costs, and essential monopoly of large packers has squeezed many ranchers out of business and/or reduced herd sizes. The population of the US cattle herd is lower than it has been in several decades, but of course the population of mouths to feed hasn’t dropped. So supply and demand has finally moved beef prices back to a point where ranchers can actually make a little money for their hard work, even though beef is still not actually expensive. In terms of the amount of nutrients offered per pound, beef is comparatively quite cheap versus many other foods people buy without any hesitation.

And yes, the climate nuts are trying like hell to get rid of cattle, despite the fact this means it will be rather difficult for people to have food if this occurs.
