Anyone allowing this to happen, including the judge needs to be subjected to the same for varying time periods so they can truly weigh in on it with some experience. Not in a controlled environment, but on their way home from work at night in the very same place.

My wife can be in the other room watching TV, I'm in another room chatting with you guys and my dog will come in here every two minutes it seems to get me in the same room as my wife. When I do that, she will climb on her bed and go to sleep. Everybody that's ever had a dog will claim theirs is the best, I agree as I claim mine is the best. IMO no such thing as a bad dog IF the owners take the time the dog needs to be a great dog. It's all in the owner's hand. JMO. I have had some stubborn pups, but with the right attention they need they grew up to be excellent dogs. Do I want my dogs to be super friendly lick everybody in the face they see, nope that's not what my dogs are for. If we have company, she will stay right next to me and not bother anyone, that's how I raised her. In case you didn't know, I sure do love my dogs.

I think we have talked dogs before. Boxers are my preferred dog. We rescued a female boxer and her pup a long time ago. She was deaf and full of buckshot. Despite the abuse, she loved everybody, was the friendliest dog imaginable. We were in a Petsmart one Xmas shortly after the rescue and she jumped up in Santa Claus lap and started licking his face. The pup was scared of everything.
We had another boxer named Maddie who I took very long walks with daily. If I was late, she would go get her leash and bring it to me. We had a fenced in backyard and a doggie door. She would find something the wife didn't want her to have and stare at her till the wife noticed and got up to get the object. Then she was off to the races, out the doggie door in to the backyard. Boxers are the clowns of the dog world.
