Dan’s message seemed like an implicit threat to me, but if they are both former Navy Seals, probably not so much. Crenshaw is brash and often says dumb things out of emotion, IMO. That said, I would not be so sure that discovery in a defamation case that centered solely on the accusation that Dan threatened Shawn would reach into the trading issues. Now, if the claimed defamation dealt with the trading issue comments, then that discovery would be likely to some extent. Asking how a congressman affords things and accumulated wealth on a limited salary, is not defamation on its face. But, I only watched this video.
