I didn't miss any point. Patton was wrong & you backed him to the hilt. Sickening that you wanted the war to continue.

And just why shouldn't I let it get personal - 8 bronze stars, a a Purple Heart, & a concentration camp liberation later?
did not want it to go further. I was not there remember? I just agree with his point that they were going to be a problem.

Further more, where are your medals?

All I said was I've said the same about Babbitt for years. She received multiple warnings to stop, she did not, and she was shot...because she failed to comply with an order by an officer. You can't spin her story into her being a victim and/or hero, even though this bizarre thread has unsuccessfully tried to do so. She played a stupid game and lost. And Babbitt wasn't shot in the face. Please take that made-up story elsewhere.

This thread will literally say that people must always comply and if you don't then oh well. Babbitt is no different. She didn't comply. She did the opposite of what this thread preaches. Oh well...
What proof is there of Byrd actually doing that other than him trying to save his own hide?

including witnesses like journalist Tayler Hansen (who was positioned across the hall and reported not hearing any warning), have disputed these accounts, claiming Byrd gave no verbal commands, did not identify himself as an officer, was not in uniform, and essentially "ambushed" her without a chance to surrender.”

He shot her on purpose, to send a message to the mob.

He knew he'd get away with it.

I really don't know what to tell you gullible fools (not you) that still can't see the obvious. He had a license to kill and took it; simple as that.

Trump is having some hell of a day. Whatever he ate for breakfast he needs every morning. I mean, withdrawing from useless organizations, seizing oil tankers while Russia watches, kicks the defense industry execs right in the nuts and then turns around and does the same to Blackrock. By tomorrow morning we might just own Greenland.

You went over it with your usual BS They are cutting cocaine and other drugs with Fentanyl. My nephew had back issues and his friend gave him what was supposed to be a percicet and he OD because it . Thankfully, EMT was able to revive him. Just businessmen giving their customers what they wanted according to you. Almost 500k Americans have died from fentanyl in the last 10 years so comparing it to your number looks like 20x was an underestimation So who is full of it? We could do a poll and let the board decide.
Again, what fentanyl was coming out of Venezuela? Y’all always move the goalposts.

I was in my car channel surfing and began listening to a news report that Somali daycare centers had been found making wire transfers to Somalia the very next day after receiving payment from the state. It explained that some centers had been prosecuted and the wire transfers stopped.

The report came to a stop. The host of the show came on the air and said that report was from 2018.

TSA then noticed an increase in cash being carried in suitcases to Somalia.

TSA has reported $700,000 in cash passing through the Minneapolis airport to Somalia in the last two years.

I'm following the lead of this thread as most, if not every regular has said in years past if you do not comply with an officer, we will not feel sorry for whatever consequences may come your way. Stupid games, stupid prizes. That line of thinking applies to Babbitt.

As far as today goes, we'll see what happens. My best guess is the temp isn't going to be turned down by either side and things will get worse, per usual. Great start to 2026. From what I've seen, the ICE agent wasn't almost run over nor did he have a mob on the other side of a door pushing towards him but the videos will now be seen around the world and a court may decide what ultimately happens to him. ICE is there for one reason and that's not to shoot and kill moms living in MN. I don't think the public is going to see this the way this thread sees this. There's a blindness and a submissiveness on the right for authority figures and everyone here has created this made-up fairytale that every single ICE agent has moral authority over the rest of us. They cannot be questioned and they are heroes.

Ewwww you’re the veteran that brags about something you volunteered to do? As a vet myself, be better. Embarrassing.

if the situation was so dire ... why didn't the other officers shoot?
Because they weren’t in front of the car & weren’t in immediate danger. Whether you like it or not, it’s justified & backed up by case law. Tousis v. Billiot. Maybe don’t back up and then drive forward towards a federal officer after you’ve been ordered out of the car. In a liberal hell hole like Minnesota she would have been released from custody before she even got booked more than likely.

I believe sincerely that a great many of these Facebook liberals who insert themselves into actual police operations do not understand that they have crossed over into real life. Nor do they understand that you must comply with the police.
They're patriots willing to put their lives on the line to oppose a fascist state.

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants." - Thomas Jefferson

It always goes back to a very simple procedure....if an officer requests you to do something, then do it. 100% chance you will be alive the next morning. Liberals always struggle w/ this concept.
What you're describing is a police state. Not America. For people who supposedly distrust the government y'all sure do suck off the gun barrel it points at you.

Donald J Trump the communist. Putting a cap on executive earnings. And every one of you will just cheer this on, completely against your supposed principles, just because he did it. Let's go Trump!
So you’re upset that military contractors aren’t allowed to r*pe the American tax payers pockets & upcharge like 1000%? A bag of bolts shouldn’t cost $2k.

I too was shocked and dismayed when Ms Babbitt drew her weapon. The dozen capitol police within ten feet of Ms Babbitt on her side of the barricade that did not restrain her only speaks to how dangerous the situation actually was. Those capitol police within close proximity of Ms Babbitt have to thank their God every night that Lt Byrd acted so quickly.

From what I've seen, the ICE agent wasn't almost run over

The bullet hole in the windshield disagrees.
