Sounds a lot like what’s going on in NYOh, he knows.. his real problem is only that they weren't the ones doing it.
They essentially believe that unless the officer was actually being run over, he's not in the right to take the action that he did; that the cop is supposed to actually let the car run him over first.
The law, however, disagrees.

For someone who supposedly cares about the American people, having a "Zzzzzzzzz" response to the expansion of the police state, where masked raids funded by tens of billions of dollars killed a person, is pretty revealing. You just love it because it isn't you, you're white.

Talked to a lawyer friend whose represented cops in the past and doesn't take politics seriously. She even likes Trump in some respects. Her view is that the ICE agent is in the wrong and he doesn't have a reasonable self-defense claim. The videos do not show this as a justified killing and he wasn't in mortal danger. Could she end up wrong? Sure. But she's more equipped for situations like this than anyone here. So remember this if this goes the way of Chauvin. But you guys will be angry no matter what and are going to scream foul about anything daily.

I don't believe he should have, but he was in his legal right to do so. It is his job to make that spit second decision, and he will have to live with it. No one else.

Woman probably didn't have malicious intent. I'm guessing she is all jazzed up by the thrill of the protest. Imbibed countless content seeing protestors doing what she was doing with no consequences. She gets confronted and then scared she might actually be in trouble. Spins her wheels and drives off. Good chance she didn't even know there was an officer in front of her due to her panic.
The officer in front of the car can't read her mind. He sees and hears a car mere feet in front of him accelerating and reacts.
Really unfortunate and sad all around.

Appreciate it. Something like this today, a killing, is unfortunately meat for this thread. There's very little common sense used and instead a rush to find someone on the far right online to agree with. By tomorrow this thread will be calling this woman some sort of terrorist who hated America.
He also may have saved someone else's life down the road for doing it. Someone that is willing to run over someone in LE is capable of worse.
i talked to 2 lawyer friends that hate trump and said it was justified.
