My take on the gal in Minneapolis that was killed is pretty much the same as it was for Ashley Babbitt. And that is that if you put yourself in bad situations by doing dumb things, you might get shot. For the gal who died today, if I'm being honest the officer pulled his gun awful fast on her. But we also don't know what kind of BS was going on before the incident took place. Per my understanding she and her crew were harassing ICE all morning.

What happened to Chauvin is likely to happen with the ICE agent and no amount of narrative changing is going to stop it. The vehicle was slowly turning and he wasn't in danger of being "run over." That's this thread, and the far right, once again bowing down to anyone in a uniform. And just like Chauvin, when he was found guilty, I came here to gage the overall reaction and it seemed like many hated the verdict and wanted him found not guilty. End of the day, if you can't handle the job, don't apply for it. ICE will get hassled some. It is what it is. That doesn't give one of them the authority to shoot a mother in the head at point blank range unless there's an immediate danger. And "hassling" shouldn't equal death. But again, we'll see what happens. What the country doesn't want is some sort of military presence taking over cities and moms being killed by officers whose job it is to protect them. Scoop up illegals? Cool. Immediately take your weapon out and blast a young woman in the skull? Uh, no. And if anyone here believes what happened today helps the "cause" (ICE taking over communities) and will get overwhelming support, it won't. This will hurt the reputation of ICE and those defending these guys as everlasting heroes. The hero worship by the right, man. It's something.

It is what I have been saying all along. Take these illegals that are committing crimes in this country and make them work on chain gangs cleaning streets or working in fields or whatever else is needed. Once you they have finished their allotted sentence, deport them. We could also do that with some of our own prisoners.
