Sometimes you may literally have a second to make a decision and react. React wrong and someone may die. React right and you may be in trouble anyhow.

And the hilarious part is libs on social media are like "look, at this nanosecond the wheeled appear to be going to the right".. like, the cop cant see the wheel base and even if he did the car is accelerating.

Can't see Pope getting fired this season. I say he will have one more year to turn things around.
His Problem I think was that realizing he needed to improve defensively, he recruited against his system. Now he has a team with no identity. The players obviously don't get along. too many of them think they have to be the Alpha dog. There is no leader. Oweh should be that leader, but he's not. Las season we were relatively successful despite having to build a roster at the last minute because he built more to his system. We had shooters. Defense is obviously important, but if you're system is to score a lot and fast, then you don't have to always have a lockdown defense. just a decent one that allows you to outscore to win and protects big leads. It's OK to win 94-82. So next season, assuming he stays, he should focus on getting back to what made us pretty competitive last year, and try to improve on that. Not just taking any random dude, then suddenly realizing "Oh Crap we're short on point guards" and how am I going to keep 13 guys who all expect to play happy. Next years roster needs to have a shorter rotation and a more defined starting lineup and recruiting needs to focus on the best shooters we can find.

A history lesson.

“Jews, especially in Israeli schools and some religious circles, use an alternative plus sign, ﬩(U+FB29), which looks like an inverted 'T' or a Hebrew letter, to avoid the standard '+' symbol because it resembles the Christian cross.”

“Many Eastern European Jews were illiterate in English or the Latin alphabet and were asked to sign immigration forms with an "X" as a mark. They reportedly refused to use an X because it resembled a Christian cross, opting instead to draw a circle. The Yiddish word for "circle" is kaykl (or kikel, pronounced KY-kel), and a diminutive form is kikeleh (little circle). Immigration officials or others allegedly began referring to these immigrants as "kikels," which shortened over time to "k—e" as a derogatory term.”

Christian Zionists are absolutely oblivious that these people hate Christians and always have.
Been an away for a day or so, but not surprised to see your obsession persists. When you rank the most important political issues of the day, is Israel right at the top?

The biggest change has to be the AD and president. Both are awful. But the AD had to go. Mark Pope should resign but the money is too good to do that.

we’re stuck for at least 1 more year. So I’m done watching this trash. Last night was the final nail for me. We are so Indiana that it took me last night to accept it.

I like Pope. When he was hired, my reservation was I hoped he wouldn't be Joker. I liked Joker, but every good memory I had of Joker was wiped out by his head coaching abilities.

It looked like we turned the corner last year and thought that was a fine starting point. I'm just at a loss of words. I can't believe we wasted scholarships much less paid millions for these fools. It all seems so out of character for what I think I know of Pope. Off of the court, he's just so personable and accessible. All of my boys have had individual interactions with him. Not just selfies, but conversations. We are nobodies and have no connection to the athletic department.

Just tell me what went wrong and what we are going to do to fix it. Whatever it is, it can't make the team chemistry any worse.

He will get fired after the third season. The reality is, he has a Sweet 16 on his resume. Billy got fired for a plethora of reasons, not signing the contract, off the court issues, and his two years were us being 18-13 in 2008, getting an 11 seed and losing in the first round (we did not deserve to be in the tournament) and then an NIT finish the following year.

Pope won't have character issues but we are likely headed to at best, a NIT finish, at worst, a losing season. Then next year will be the make or break season for him and there's no reason to expect anything different.

Have you watched the video? She very clearly backs up before going forward. No reason to do that if you're intentionally trying to run over the person.

You're literally worrying about the safety of the people who gunned down one of your fellow Americans today, from being gunned down. It's bizzarro world.

Your post is bizarro world. Monday morning QBing this is really a sick perversion if you cannot see that your perspective may be mistaken. Backing up a car does not mean she would not drive it into the person in front of her. That is ONE explanation but not the only and the citizen charged to enforce the law has to decide whether they are about to be killed in a split second. It’s only hard to be objective about this if you have no desire for objectivity. And, clearly you don’t.

If you made me bet wages on whether she intended to drive into the officer, I would bet no. If you told me to bet all my wages or refrain from wagering, there is no way I would place that bet. From the early evidence, it seems reasonable to construe she was disregarding the life in front of her.

??? You're saying exactly the same thing. She clearly reverses, which she never would've done if she was intentionally trying to ram. Makes no sense. Then she very clearly turns away from the officer, not towards, which is so obvious you yourself have to say so even while somehow arguing the opposite.
My wife's cousin was murdered as part of a road rage incident. He was trying to go to work at UPS, but some maniac was being an *** on the road and tried to claim Roy cut him off or something. The guy kept chasing Roy until Roy decided to pull into the parking lot of a business, the guy pulled in behind him. Roy stopped, got out of his truck and threw his arms up like WTF Dude. The maniac then threw his car in reverse, backed up a bit then threw it back in drive and literally ran through Roy throwing him over the car and onto the pavement. He was dead at the scene. This maniac had a dash cam that caught it all, also caught his audio from the moment he left his driveway about how he was angry at just about everything. That guy is in prison now, but to say nobody would have a reason to back up if they didn't intend harm is false.

did not want it to go further. I was not there remember? I just agree with his point that they were going to be a problem.

Further more, where are your medals?
I wasn't drafted like all of them were, so I have no medals. But I did have all those relatives to talk with after the war as I was growing up. Questionable that would have been true had Patton's course of action that you like so well had been followed. Their having medals in that war gives them way more cred on the subject than you'll ever have.

Ewwww you’re the veteran that brags about something you volunteered to do? As a vet myself, be better. Embarrassing.
I wasn't invited by Uncle Sam into the military. His choice. And just what am I bragging about? I'm noting relatives' experiences in that war that gives credibility to their views vs. 80 years later views that warmonger.

Lmao at nightwish 😂. He jumps into every single thread to admonish any perceived “right-winger” for their “extremist” opinions and takes, talks about how awful it must be for them in real life and how they’d never say or do any of these things to their family and friends…….then defends the very things he criticizes when it’s a lefty doing and saying the same ****.

Take Reiner as the first example. Reiner was every bit as crazy/extreme/vile as even the most radical in this thread. But he never once had anything to say about him. Only pissed at those of us who pointed that out instead crying over his dead body.

Now take this unhinged woman who got shot. Does it get any more extreme and unhinged than leaving your son at home so you can go violently protest ICE agents for doing their job? Than refusing to listen to lawful orders to get out of you vehicle? Than accelerating toward a federal agent?

She and Reiner were the very definition of what he thinks we all are. Vile, extreme, and unhinged.

Maybe Reiner and this woman would still be with us if they had gone outside more. Maybe had a picnic or 2 with their kids instead of becoming so politically unhinged. Right, nightwish?

MAGA nut job woman gets killed during an attack on the capital -“prosecute!!! She was murdered in cold blood!!””

Non MAGA gets murdered by ICE Agent - “she deserved it.”

MAGA brains are irreparably broken and can’t be fixed. They’re like pedophiles. It’s a sickness.

Talked to a lawyer friend whose represented cops in the past and doesn't take politics seriously. She even likes Trump in some respects. Her view is that the ICE agent is in the wrong and he doesn't have a reasonable self-defense claim. The videos do not show this as a justified killing and he wasn't in mortal danger. Could she end up wrong? Sure. But she's more equipped for situations like this than anyone here. So remember this if this goes the way of Chauvin. But you guys will be angry no matter what and are going to scream foul about anything daily.
My view is her view is wrong. Law enforcement doesn't have to be in mortal danger, just BELIEVE they are in physical harm danger.

One was unarmed, but doing something stupid.

The other was unarmed and doing something even more stupid with a 2 ton vehicle.

Both would still be with us if they had not been doing stupid stuff.

WITNESS CONFIRMS INTENT — THIS WASN’T RANDOM
🚨

A witness to the deadly Minneapolis ICE incident just filled in the missing piece the media keeps dodging.
By her own account, the woman who was shot wasn’t an innocent bystander or someone casually “trying to leave.” She was leading the protest — with a vehicle — and deliberately blocking law enforcement.
Her words:
Woman: They clearly wanted her out of there because she was the main car leading the protest, is my understanding. I talked to another guy who was driving behind her, but she was very—she was very successful in blocking traffic. She was doing what she was set out to do. And so they wanted to get her the hell out of there. Yeah.
Question: So it looked like she was impeding ICE vehicles?
Woman: Definitely, yeah. That was her goal.
My only issue with the "witness" is her use of the word "understanding" which to me means she didn't have first hand knowledge & is passing hearsay for that portion.

Party is extremely relevant. I don’t see Dion advocating for lower taxes. People vote democrat traditionally when they want more government involvement.

It's not relevant to the point I made: one which you are incapable of appreciating.

You don't know what I'm getting at because you can't, can't appreciate the point being made. Dion can't either, or Vh, or JohnKBA or Night, or whomever, whichever of your 5 distinct liberal voices. It's simply not in your wheelhouse, so you start bringing up party, or what city he's from; something which is. That's all irrelevant to the point I made. The kid is brainwashed into a corrupted worldview by ignorant and/or malfeasant people not unlike you, one which provides the impetus for such irrational, useful idiot foot soldier behavior.

His life, no less so than her life, was unnecessarily ruined by forces completely indifferent to them, actually malevolent to them. But idiots get mad at some people for taking politics seriously. You may not be interested in politics, but it is interested in you.

They're right about one thing, this was inevitable. I predicted it before the election. When you empower an agency to start raiding Americans like Afghanistan, said masked kidnappings inevitably won't go well. Just like in Afghanistan. Many of our fellow Americans, most of this thread, wished for this. Now they have it. It will continue to deteriorate.
Stopping blockage of law enforcement means an operation IS going well.

The tribalism displayed tonight by the usual suspects that show up in the thread after a tragedy is disgusting. A person overcome with the same tribalism displayed here tonight forced the agent to have to kill her to defend himself and other officers. He will have to live with that the rest of his life no matter the fact that it was justified.

To clarify, tribalism is what causes seemingly normal people to not peacefully protest, but to block traffic and ice vehicles to hinder their jobs. The same tribalism causes seemingly normal people to watch the countless videos of the incident and come to the conclusion that it was murder including such high-profile figures such as the mayor of New York City. If any riots take place, it will be spurned on by the same tribalism.

And before the usual suspects say that I'm overcome with tribalism for my side, save your breath. If you can watch those videos and come to a conclusion that the agent murdered that woman, then I certainly don't value your opinion or criticism of my character.
Same people think killing of health care CEO on the streets of NYC was justified and capturing of Maduro was wrong.

basketball is just becoming so unwatchable anymore. all the handchecking and over physical play is just less fun to watch...if i wanted to watch rugby, then i'd be in Australia. walks left and right, carrying the ball, etc. it is just painful to watch anymore.
IOW, it's becoming more like football. Great !! Hoops needs to legalize tackling.
