Politico: Feds could have surveilled Trump Tower without FISA warrant

Why do I get the feeling this is going to turn into one of the biggest stories of 2017 and will likely end up with some of the Obama administration going to jail, Obama being pardoned by Trump, and some major overhauls to the FISA court?
My comment last week about "don't care if former presidents nor current senators go down" was eluding to this. Had the same feeling.
I'm hoping Intelligence becomes a little less partizan. Republican and Democrat party operatives need to be rooted out. Cull the herd.
These intelligence leaks are part of an orchestrated campaign to discredit the new Administration. As Andrew McCarthy noted, they found no criminal wrong doing in June, 2016 and then did an end around and began looking at the "intelligence angle" which is a much lower bar to cross to get a warrant.
Personally, I would conduct lie detector tests of all ranking intelligence officers privy to this leaked information to root out the leakers. This must end.
Its beginning to look very, very likely Trump Tower was surveilled. How it was surveilled is an open question. The Dems started this whole Trump/Russian collusion. It could soon backfire in a huge way.
Allegations against Trump: "media perpetuated lies". Trump makes unfounded allegations: "truth is coming out".....but no one on the right is biased are they?
For a couple reasons Boom, first president Obama said that he did not order it. he also said the White House did not order it. He did not say it did not happen. Big difference.
And too many articles and too many respected people (e.g. Mukasey) said the tower was likely surveilled. Plus, there has been an enormous number of intelligence leaks during his first 40 days. That does not happen by accident.

Honestly, I think the media has been reporting what they have been fed. The bias allegation stems from them not having anything new to report on for the last 4 months. The intel community stated they found no connections between Trump and Russia. Now, we have what appears to be the means for capturing information towards the leak. We'll see what unfolds. Doesn't look good right now.
