Last nights game was 2 hames as far ss hame ball goes. 1st half was all Vrrnon. Without his monster half, we get blown out, embarrassed. It was a man's game and Hurt, Cassius, and Moore were playing like kids. Fortunately, Moore and Cassius adjusted. So proud of them. Man, they dug in and responded. They took a knockout punch to the mouth, got up off the mat and punched back. 2nd half to Casdiua and Wendell.

I think it could of went to either one based on the different things they brought to the table last night, but I went with Moore. I loved his attack mode throughout the night and loved the block on the 3 point attempt by McClung and the little barking at him afterward. When they showed the replay, reminded me a little bit of the block Zion had against hunter last year in Va.

I went with Wendell. Hope this was his coming out party. If he can become consistent, we are going to be tough to handle!!!!

It seems like every game now he is starting to figure it out. Dude is strong as heck and just bullies people when he wants to drive.

Wendell
He’s starting to figure it out. Only going to get better as he’s already showing.

Much tougher vote than the night prior, but I went with Big Vern again. As others have said, he kept Duke in contact almost single handedly until Moore and Stanley got going a little bit.

It would have been Moore without the turnovers. Stanley played almost a perfect game, so efficient. It's nice having the best athlete in the game on our side.

Have to go with "Big Vernon". He was a man among boys in the paint, and his ability to own the paint is huuuuuge for this young team.
Big shout out to Stanley and Moore, WOW, they are "fearless"!

Go Duke!

How is it that Javin is a senior yet still manages to play like an excited puppy that knocks over everything?

It’s like he tries so hard to not screw up. The end result is that he screws up.
K is a tough coach to play for. Also the attention Duke gets makes it the toughest college to play at. Some can’t handle that.

The first 12 minutes of this game were awful. The only thing that kept us remotely afloat was Tre’s defense. Because of his effort all night on Akinjo aka 2019 Juan Dixon, I go with Tre.

It would have been Moore without the turnovers.

Moore probably would have gotten my vote....but seven turnovers is still seven turnovers. That’s too many.

I’ll go with Vernon. He was kind of our rock last night in the first half, and even looked more composed than Tre at times.

One more point....he wouldn’t get any votes and his stat line is far from inspiring numbers-wise, but if you like to watch defense and rotations, watch Jack. You’ll appreciate it....I promise.

Good to see the props for Joey's 3s and Jack's D.
We need hiys to hit 3s so Vernon isn't tripple teamed like Zion and Casius and Wendel have room to attack the basket.
Jack gets MAN rebounds. We really need his toughness to take some pressure off of Vernon.
Really liked our toughness last night.
