We can at least say we won.

  • REBOUNDING: 5 rebounds by Plumlee - not enough. Though he did have 3 offensive. Part of it was our team was very active and he had some deflections to them. So team rebounding looked a bit better.
  • DERRYCK: He took a step back today so we need to see two steps forward next game.
  • LUKE: Likes his scoring better than his shooting today. The lad was a baller on the drives.
  • BRANDON: Performance is becoming expected. He is really getting it done and making better decisions with the ball. Hence his assists going up as well.
  • STEALS: Becoming a staple for our offense and that is a good thing. Had 10 steals as a team today. Add in all the special efforts on loose balls and it is something special.

I went with Matt - statistics say Brandon all day long, but I felt like Matt was in every play today.

Have to go with Brandon, he just continues to impress! But man I love Luke's game! He is just so smooth with his play!

Hard for plumee to board when Ingram and Grayson got 9 each and luke got 5...that's 23 right there....I went with luke...he scored well without the long ball

I voted Ingram, he made key baskets when we needed them.
Kennard is fun to watch when he dribbles and sets his defender up!

Ingram was the best player on the floor in my opinion. He gets my vote.

Have to go with Ingram because of his shooting and rebounding. Really like the improvement of Luke also, and Grayson is just so unselfish (17/9/5)!
Go Duke!!

I think Brandon will win most game ball awards because he is simply our best player. He gets better each game.

I thought Matt had some uncharacteristic, poor decisions passing that resulted in some turnovers.

With the improvement in team rebounding, I'm less concerned with Marshall's individually. Marshall's role from now on is to be tough and opportunistic. He'll have a 2&3 game against an undersized team and a double-double against a deep post team, based on what's available.

Agree very much about Brandon, Derryck, and the steals. It's like a light has turned on for Brandon. The hamster powering Derryck's light takes frequent breaks. We're efficient enough on offense that the stretches where we turn people over and get lay-ups out of it really gives us some good separation.
