Hmmmm.... clearly Matt made great plays to start the half and was the momentum changer and he does deserve the game ball as the most influential player.

But I think it's Capel. His guts to start that team after half was gutsy. And he must have given a heck of a talk at half. I give it to him.

Yes, has to go to Matt. But Bolden is right up there. I honestly did not know he could play like that. His defense, especially in the second half, was simply outstanding. If he continues to play like that, we have a chance to go all the way this season.

Of course not Q. We never will. Everything done to Grayson is always unintentional. OFC
One of my tarhole "buddies" said Grayson intentionally slapped the Miami player in the face when he hurt his finger.....all I could say was just wow.

I went Matt too, but like you said, Bolden did some things that up until now we had only heard he "could" do.

This might sound stupid, but better than his defense, better than his offense, even better than his aggressiveness? His demeanor. Basketball is fun. Marques, until last night, I don't recall having fun one time all season. Last night he did. And what's another best thing? We have a quick turnaround and are back at it tomorrow. Marques needs to carry it over while it's fresh in his mind.

It's a no-brainer vote for Matt, but Capel's dry cleaner gets honorable mention. He has his work cut out for him on that dress shirt.

This, DJ! I was watching some vids over on http://www.dukeblueplanet.com/, and when I came to the interview of Marques...you could just see him glow. Never have I seen this out of him this year. It's huge. If you're not winning, or contributing, basketball isn't that much fun. Last night it was.

Here's a clip of the interview (that I took from DBP), some of his plays, and team mates talking about him. Be sure to go over to DukeBluePlanet to see all of the videos.

Look at that little smile!

OOOHHH if Bolden steps up and starts playing to his potential,,,that would be huge for this team. His potential dominance in the paint could overshadow some of the weaknesses we have at point. But if Frank steps up and fills that roll, and I do not mean he has to dominate but just play sound ball at the 1 then this team starts becoming what we all were hoping for.
