Wasn't particularly worried about this game but really wanted us to do more than win, but to beat them badly - it's a UNC thing!

Duke did not disappoint. They played solid ball even without Tre.

Normally I don't say who I am voting for in the opening post, but - J. Gold really was awesome filling in and for me - because of the shoes he had to fill in this game, I give him my vote

Jordan played a really solid and clean game so it’s close but Joey just keeps getting better.
So Joey

Totally. Very difficult choice as this team once again had an ensemble effort. Went with Jordan because he filled in for Tre in more ways than necessary. Glad to see him seize the day like that!

Had a hard time between Joey and J. Gold. I think I was swayed a bit by I think Joey will have more opportunities to get the gameball than J. Gold and J. Gold was just so solid in his play. Not flashy just out and out solid.

If I could vote for two JB and J. Gold would share it.

Goldwire was great, and Carey is absolutely exceeding expectations. He is a big-time force on the block, and that is a game changer for Duke.

My vote went to Baker. He is becoming an absolute sharp-shooter. We saw last year the value in having marksmen (or not having them).

Love what Joey is doing. Has a fire for the game. Going with Goldwire though. Played a very solid game, and made life tough on their shooters. The kid is just tough as nails.
I know I’ve said it before, but he reminds me of Chris Duhon.

Joey is becoming the next “most hated” Duke player of the class
Was just about to say this. He is definitely becoming the next hated Duke player, which means he's playing well, so I'll take it. He is playing with a chip on his shoulder on both ends. He is not great defensively, but it's not because he's not giving the effort. So happy for Mr. Buckets. What a great game by J-Gold also, he played very smart. When Joey got hot, he was looking for him in transition and caused chaos on the defensive end. He was a true extension of his Koach out of the floor. Happy for both of them and both are deserving of the gameball.

I wish Joey got more burn last year. Seeing him shoot, I have no doubt that had he gotten more minutes last year, he would have been the best three point shooter on the team, yes better than Reddish

Was at the game last night. When Robinson get the first block, The Admiral stood up and did the Mutombo finger wave. I think it was my favorite moment of the game. Anyway, Joey went En Fuego and was fun to watch, but Goldwire really played well running the team. He’s gonna be a big factor for us this year.

UltimTely I go with Baker

Joey shot lights out, and I wouldn't argue with anyone voting for him, but I was just so impressed with the way Goldwire ran the offense, and his defense was just as good.
I can't say enough how proud I am of these kids and their effort last night, very impressive. Team never lost focus.

Go Duke!

My vote went to Joey Buckets because he was pretty much automatic from 3 last night and as I mentioned in the game day thread, it was awesome seeing him and Coach K high five each other after Joey made one of his 3’s last night.
