I voted for the second option. The only reason is that we are the team that is considered to get all the calls.
Calls go both ways in a game. The ones we discuss from Saturday were just the most visible.
Miami played hard too and they did not do anything wrong(so to speak), meating they did nit blow the calls. They played to the whistle also. Even if we got the benefit of a call, I'd want that hard work recognized.
I tend to agree with Dbav on this.
We've seen stuff that was blown up all out of proportion against Duke before...such as Boeheim running around like a chicken with his head cut off when the foul at the end of the game at Cameron didn't go his way (he had no problem with a similar ending at Syracuse that went his way). We're savaged if we get a call that isn't correct even if we got screwed on 10 calls prior. I don't want to cheat anyone, but we have no control over the officiating (unless you're a card carrying member of the K is Satan club).
I will take every win we get (even if it is distasteful), because we've lost many games on crap calls. That's life. Sometimes it goes your way, and sometimes it doesn't.
Now if Duke athletics were to cheat like UNC athletics has cheated by fraudulent classes, changing grades, etc., to win ball games...then NO, HELL NO...I don't want any part of that, but that would be on Duke...not on the officials, of which we don't have control.
So to answer the question...I'll take the victory (tainted or not), because as sure as the sun will come up in the morning...we'll pay for it down the road with a call or series of call that goes against us in other games.

Not to nitpick your points. But the game against Syracuse still had time and Boeheim cost his own team a chance to win. Not a bad call with no time on the clock.
You have to wonder just how much Vegas plays into it. Bets have already been paid out. If its reversed,do those who lost suddenly get paid? You can bet those who already were paid will not be returning the money. No pun intended there.
The Miami win should be reversed by Commissioner Swofford. This is a good explanation in the Tampa Bay Times:I for one would have a hard time accepting a victory like that with a straight face.
Well said!It was a horrible call no doubt about it, but a reversal? NO, NEVER EVER do I hope this happens now, or in the future. If this ever happens you open the door for it happening again, and again it will happen with absolute certainty. The slippery slope will get slipperier as time goes on. Would a 'win' ever be safe? We know how everyone (including us) howl about a bad call, or a series of calls, and if a 'reversal' ever happens the howling will ramp up higher and higher because every school's fans will want a 'reversal'. It would never end.
No, stuff happens, and you have to learn to live with it. As bad a taste as this leaves in Coach Cut's, and the teams mouths, it's just a life lesson imo. Suck it up and move on.

I voted for option 2. Its is not Miami's fault the refs on the last player were complete and utter failures. I would probably say sorry to the opposition but I am not taking back the result.
Duke got screwed. In sports as in life, it happens.
