I want 6 with a bowl but I don't think we can do that with Johnson at qb , teams are going to load the box eventually and I doubt he can pass us to a sixth win . We still need Barkers passing for a more balanced offense and deep threats .
No need to quote me , you can simply state your opinion . Besides , it's not as if you made any convincing counterpoint to nullify anything I posted . It's not a belief question on whether you think he can do it , it's a poll asking what you prefer to happen .I'm not on the Stoops bandwagon. I don't see anything that resembles a head coach. Going to a bowl prolongs the inevitable in my opinion. He isn't a viable long term solution for the head coaching position no matter how much hope you have that he can make changes and become the guy. He's a terrible head coach and I hope that he's gone sooner rather than later.
Shouldn't have, hit the wrong button and quoted you. That's why post wasn't a counterpoint to your post. My opinion is he should be let go.
inagree but three posters would rather us struggle to fire him then start showing signs of life. Crazy world. That's dumb. Where do y'all come up with these polls. 6 wins
This, no question.6 wins and a bowl to show forward progress and increase momentum in recruiting are obviously more important. Stoops deserves a fair shot at coaching his guys in year 5 where there can be ZERO excuses. But he has to earn that this season because he's dug too many holes the past two seasons to have any benefit lf the doubt in the fans' mind. If we only win 4 or less then he HAS to go too. Even those of us who have been super critical of him want the guy to succeed. He hasn't shown a proclivity for learning from past mistakes until really the last couple of games.
30% would rather lose and fire, than win with him...that is very significantThat's dumb. Where do y'all come up with these polls. 6 wins
