Which is more important to you, 6 wins or Stoops fired?
I will take the 6 wins...

sorry, I can't edit the typo...and I am not sure, why the first choice was in bold text.

6 wins and a bowl to show forward progress and increase momentum in recruiting are obviously more important. Stoops deserves a fair shot at coaching his guys in year 5 where there can be ZERO excuses. But he has to earn that this season because he's dug too many holes the past two seasons to have any benefit lf the doubt in the fans' mind. If we only win 4 or less then he HAS to go too. Even those of us who have been super critical of him want the guy to succeed. He hasn't shown a proclivity for learning from past mistakes until really the last couple of games.

I want 6 with a bowl but I don't think we can do that with Johnson at qb , teams are going to load the box eventually and I doubt he can pass us to a sixth win . We still need Barkers passing for a more balanced offense and deep threats .

I'm not sure there's anyone who doesn't want Stoops to be the guy. Many just don't believe he is.

If he gets to 6 wins, I believe he's earned another year, especially if the focus, defense, and intensity keep trending in the right direction.

Five wins and all the above true, and there's some debate.

Four wins and he has to go.

I'll take the 6 wins as I doubt the guy that replaces Stoops does any better (As Barney will be making the hire).

I'm not on the Stoops bandwagon. I don't see anything that resembles a head coach. Going to a bowl prolongs the inevitable in my opinion. He isn't a viable long term solution for the head coaching position no matter how much hope you have that he can make changes and become the guy. He's a terrible head coach and I hope that he's gone sooner rather than later.

I try to stay positive but the one thing that bothers me is we haven't really won that game that we weren't supposed to win since Stoops has been here. It's hard to say South Carolina since we got them 3 in a row. Maybe it's this year but it needs to happen.

Five wins creates a little bit of a conundrum, but most likely MB would bring Stoops back for 2017.

No need to quote me , you can simply state your opinion . Besides , it's not as if you made any convincing counterpoint to nullify anything I posted . It's not a belief question on whether you think he can do it , it's a poll asking what you prefer to happen .

6 wins isn't really anything to get excited over. He could easily follow that up with 3 losing seasons and we just wasted nearly a decade on an average coordinator. His mark for success is 7 wins, and I don't believe he could sustain it anyway.

I'm ready for the change regardless.

Stoops is doing so much for this football program. He is doing things that could propel us to do much more than liberty bowl games. We would all be better off if he can get the results on the field. I'd love to see a glimmer of figuring it out and getting six wins this year. Because I could see eight and nine wins in the years to come.

This, no question.
