It's a joke...seems to be every excuse when it comes to Sooners ranking. Most zipperheads really have no idea the Sooners could have popped 60 plus on TCU (easily)...but went into a clamshell scheme.

There is a reason why coaches dont reveal their votes until the end. If not for pressure years ago they wouldnt even reveal it now.

As I've heard it explained, coaches value # of losses more than the way people win. Coaches understand how difficult it is to go undefeated regardless of what conference you're in. So naturally, the undefeated's are going to get love in the coaches' poll.
