May as well save a bunch of dough and go to Big Lots or Value City and buy a cheap table to pile junk on. After the new wears off the pool table, it's just another flat surface.
When I bought one several years ago, I found a barely used one on craigslist. I think I paid about $1200 for the table and then about $300 to get it moved and set up. Also replaced the felt.
My son and I used it for about a year and then we tapered off. Then it just sat there until I got divorced and we sold it.
Bottom line is that if you're going to pay a bunch for one, make sure you will use it. Everyone uses theirs for the first year, but then the fascination wears off.
Or golden tee, or a ping pong table.Get a Pop-A-Shot instead.
I have a brand new one from Steepletons. If I had it to do over again I'd buy a nice used one and get more for my money as people came out of the woodwork telling me I could have gotten a great deal from so and so had I waited.
