I think he came out way too conservative, and bubble going nuts in the first 9 rattled him a bit. That, and he couldn't make a putt to save his life.

From 62 on Thursday to a 75 yesterday. That is golf. Most humbling game I have ever played.

Shooting a 62 every round is impossible and J.B. is playing well right now, but he needed to win yesterday. No doubt, Doral is a tough course, but losing a 5 shot lead before 9 holes is up so just something you cannot do when trying to move up the ladder. That said, its remarkable what he has been able to accomplish since coming back from all of his health issues. Top 20 player in the world with a real chance to get into the top 10 if he can maintain his level of play and get a few more wins this season.

On another note, I may put Dustin Johnson as my Masters favorite right now. If he can putt like he did yesterday along with how well he is striking the ball right now his game will do well at Augusta. Seems he may have gotten his life together and may be ready to take that next step in his career. Guy is just too athletic, powerful, and talented not to have won a major by now.

Tough course to hold a lead. He is playing great but bunker play and streaky putting are hurting him.

Got to love Dustin Johnson. Cocaine, Hookers, Player's wives, rehab and wins after 5 tournaments. Agree about JB he can't hold it.

It was a tough one yesterday for JB, no doubt. I'll echo what others have said that it's been a great year for him. It's not incredibly unrealistic for him to get into the top 10 with the way he's been playing. I didn't think he choked yesterday. He didn't make a putt but other than he played decent, not good by any means but it wasn't like he was making doubles and hitting wild shots. From what Roger Maltby said who was following him all day was that JB never really changed his demeanor. I think he has a new outlook on the game. It is obviously working because it's taken him to #19 in the world which is by far his best ever ranking.

I think he is too conservative when its on the line. Just like laying up from 235 a couple of weeks ago. If you want to be great, you have to take some chances from time to time.

Even on 18 yesterday. He needs birdie and Johnson needs par. JB drives it to the right and barely keeps it in the fairway. Dustin goes right over the water and puts himself in a better spot. 2 pars and Dustin Johnson wins.
