Clyde could actually coach though. Guarantee he’d take this roster and have them more competitive. Sure as hell wouldn’t be as soft as they are.
Trashing it publicly could cost him his job too. While it may be warranted, it’s not the smart thing to do if he’s looking out for his bank account. There are things you can knock Pope on. Not publicly trashing JMI isn’t one of them.

The JMI deal is basically any recruit can sign with anyone but can’t put the UK logo on just anything they endorse. The reason agents hate it they wanted to use the UK logo for free now it must go through JMI. Anyone who think this is rare try and sell t shirts with Notre Dame, any Big Ten School or SEC school logo without permission.

I think it will become a problem. But JMI is not the cause of our current recruiting issues.
He probably is counting on the JMI contract to give him cover and possible another year or two (after it’s fixed).
