If Pope can put together a good staff and build a nice roster this year, he will be a pleasant surprise his first year. I think he has the ability to be really good over time. I’ll be glad for some roster stability and would much rather have guys that want to play here instead of bounce straight to the league.

Regardless, I am giving the guy a chance and am much more excited to watch than I would be if I had to endure another Cal year. Matter of fact….I was checked out if Cal returned.

Give the guy a chance and keep in mind It’s a possibility that the majority of this board might need to learn how to like crow.

I was anti-Pope the night he was rumored to be the hire. That is exactly why I make zero dollars a year to make any kind of basketball decisions. As a fan I could not be happier with Pope as our coach!
