The 31 point comeback in 94 was amazing.
Great basketball fundamentals and movement without the ball, obviously well coached his entire life. Also, tenacious on the boards and finishes through contact. Our big guys will have an excellent teacher.
Guys, I would suggest that you go to YouTube to watch Y games from their first season in the B12. Watched them play Houston, KU, Baylor, ucf, Texas, TTech, and NCSt. If the man can get players...he can coach!!
I saw one highlight that boasted a Prickett-McCarty-Pope frontcourt. Calipari would have played that combo 30 minutes a game.

Watch the UK vs Tim Duncan wake Forest team. The best 40 minutes of defensive basketball I have ever seen. I think Duncan had 1 point at half time. The double teams and foot speed of that team was just amazing. That UK team was in great shape and won so many games because the other team was so fatigued.
Haha I meant from a size perspective. I always saw Prickett as a “4” but we all know Cal would have made him a wing.
Pope was one hell of a player and as someone mentioned great footwork great hands never gave up on rebounds. I never saw once him bring the ball down into guard territory to be stolen. The franic pace caused by the press, Constant movememt. Pitino ball for sure. If he can get his players to play that style he will have recruits .
