Pope is guilty of abandoning his team today.

Did you see him at halftime? Given his speech we should have come out fired up.
Maybe you should have watched his pre-game speech. That would explain why we didn't. If Mark thinks beating some great teams once in awhile, and being calm on the sidelines, is going to get it done, then he's not as in tune with the fanbase and the program's expectations as I thought he was. Nice guys always finish last. Always.

UK fans are embarrassing. Let’s pile on Pope while knowing we have serious injury issues. Butler and Carr are OBVIOUSLY not 100% and Robinson is prob done.

At least wait another year or two to start your whining.
No. There are things that are not being done NOW that have little to do with injuries, why you can't see that is puzzling. The coaching staff is failing in some areas.

He can't sit there with his hands in his pockets acting like the good mormon.

He has a responsibility to fight for his team and he has absolutely failed at that. Its as bad as the turnover machine we've become. The players are rattled and that falls back on Pope.

He has to do better.
Only thing I will say that Pope screwed up today was not pulling
the starters & playing the bench
I would have gone down 50 just to prove a point

Yeah Pope should have gameplanned better for grown men dribbling balls off of their knee. Pope has squeezed every drop of juice out of this lemon.
Pope has gotten more out of the kids he has than Bruce would have gotten out of our kids. Bruce would have beaten the confidence out of our kids. Bruce is NOT an easy coach to play for. He will beat you down if you are not tough. I don't see a lot of tough kids on our team.

Absolutely spot on take. For someone who "understands the assignment" it sure doesn't look like it
Remind me again, who were the returning players at UK when Pope took over in April? How stupid we must appear to complain as if this was team bursting at the seams with McDonald's AAs. Truthfully, we as UK BB fans want to win now and win big. That's not happening this year. Is that Popes fault? I think the prudent thing to do is don't expect TOO much TOO soon. Let him get some UK worthy talent and see what he does with it. Ranting and Raging against Pope makes us all look like morons. It's just stupid. JMO.

Really absurd post. If you had any intellect you would be embarrassed, but you obviously don't.

The second paragraph is one I'll give you a 'like' for.
The first paragraph is really terrible for as good a poster as you.

Bruce would have MADE our guys tough. Players tend to implement their coaches. We definitely would come out ready to play each game, and would be a lot more physical, and be much more fundamentally sound.

What should we expect by year 3? I think we should at least be to an elite 8 with a shot at a final four by then. With the large NIL treasure fund and such I think 3 years should be enough.
This is MORE THAN reasonable!!!!

By year 3, he will have had 2 recruiting cycles to build HIS program with HIS players.

But for ANY UK fan to scrutinize Coach Pope for THIS team for all they have went through is CRAZY!!!!

He had 6 weeks to bring this team together!!! It's WILD how many GREAT teams they have beaten!!!! Jaxon Robinson was supposed to be our GO-TO-GUY and Lamont Butler was the LEADER for this group and BOTH have injuries that have SUPPRESSED the final product TREMENDOUSLY!!!!

I have confidence that even next season's team, with better luck on injuries, will be even BETTER than this team by a WHOLE LOT!!!

I was pretty disappointed in the lack of adjustments offensively, we never did anything different when they kept pushing us 40ft from the goal. Give credit to Bruce and his staff, well prepared and played hard overall. I thought we should have posted Amari up more and not sure why chandler played over Noah in the 2nd half.

If you want future teams to be Auburn good, donate a lot more money to Club Blue or if you own a business try and contact the SEC to do sponsorships and get some decent officiating.

Tell me more about you being in the locker room. How'd you get access?
