No. It hasn’t.

He played 20 min at Oklahoma (limited due to fouls)

Played 35 minutes at Auburn

Played 25 min va LSU and Mizzou.

…they went to a lesser support brace for the Oklahoma SECT game and he tweaked it. They’ll go back to the heavy brace that allowed him to play 4 straight games after recovering the first time
Interesting tidbit on the switch in the brace. I hadn't heard that. Not sure if it was ever confirmed which play he got hurt against OU in the SECT but it looked like it was probably the play where he initiated contact into the OU player with his bum shoulder at pretty good full speed. Pretty sure that was the play where he got hurt last time. It will be interesting to see if the change back to a heavy brace will impact his play (presumably not too bad as it was still very meaningful for us when he was on the court).

Screw the Duke slurpers. Duke has ZERO SEC teams in their bracket while we have two, not to mention playing at home. Even Bias said puke has the easiest route to a FF.
Duke will likely play Miss St in the second game and Alabama is the 2 seed in their region. You ok?

KSR said Jack Givens had said they switched the brace bc Butler didn’t like how limited his movement was. So idk if it’s been said anywhere official but that’s the heresy

We're less than 72 hours from when he was hurt on Thursday. How is the injury okay now but there's no way he could have played against Alabama? It's whatever though, I'm glad he'll be good to go in the tourney.
Ever played sports? Having the better part of an entire week certainly allows for a young body to heal significantly especially if Pope held him out of the Alabama game on purpose.

But he was the very first one to say we aren't defending at a high level, he actually said "they were defending a bit better for a bit BUT....", basically just discounted all of our defensive improvements because of the Alabama game
We are splitting hairs with Bilas. To be honest, the concern all year has been our lack of a good defense. To say we play as a high level defensive team might be a stretch. Have we improved? Yes! Are we a high level defensive team? That is everyone's own opinion. Who really cares this late in the season? Just WIN.
