I find it hard to dislike him because when he speaks I seriously question if he is mentally competent. The guy sounds like he is mentally disabled.
Kelsey seems like he's going to be a good coach for that team...........but man he sounds a bit weird when speaking to the media LOL
Yeah he’s a weird guy. He always seems right on the verge of MF’ing the media. But he seems to be a good coach. Very competitive personality. UL could have done a lot worse with the hire.

A bit weird? They ask him about the difficulty of getting his team to play a third important game in a row and he talks about free shoes and his “hot wife.” Dude is mentally enfeebled or on drugs. There is no other option.

I liked how quick Pope reacted to get his guy and it does make good fan and rivalry "smack" talk. However, I did not see anything intentional like we are joking about.
Kelsey was trying to get our guy out and Pope was assisting trying to prevent a true escalation of events. Neither Pope or Kelsey could help the difference in their heights that made for the visual us fans got to see.
However, like someone else in the thread mentioned, it will become part of the rivalry lore.
